Really a nice and friendly spot to have a traditional Italian meal. The service is impeccable and as friendly as they can be. And with the good prices you just can’t go wrong here.

We have been to Dino’s many times now. The Owner Mike seems to be able to recognize everyone who has visited his restaurant before, but greets everyone warmly. The food is always great. I like to try menu items I haven’t eaten before and am always pleased with the meal whatever it may be. Very high quality and good service make this a place I will continue to patronize.

Dino’s was wonderful! Came here on a Monday night with my dad who was in town on business. The restaurant wasn’t too busy; very nice inside. We ordered a bottle of wine and the prix fixe dinner for only $ 27/person. All of our food was outstanding! The chef personally came to check on us as well. Just an overall wonderful experience.

Fantastic restaurant to visit with friends. We were there the night before Valentines Day and everything was great. Best Bronzino my wife and I have ever had. Chef Ralph visiting the table made it that much more special.

We had the pleasure of finding this wonderful place when we were out on Long Island visiting our son. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed meeting the owner and his son. We had such a pleasant evening that we went back the following night… would go there again if we get back that way.

2 stars is only because some of the food was decent. My lamb chops were good, but slightly over done. My wife’s seafood over pasta was good. My wife’s Napoleon was awful, in fact she said that it may have been the worst dessert that she has ever had. The owner was way too much to handle. We had a minor confusion over an entrée that was ordered and the owner argued with me rather than fix the problem. He ran back into the kitchen and brought out raw fish to try to prove that he was right and I was wrong. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it because I didn’t want to ruin my grandmother’s 85th birthday dinner. I have worked with seafood for over 20 years. He served us tilapia and tried to pass it off as sole. Also the dish was supposed be a simple lemon butter and white wine sauce. They served us francese which was also on the menu, but not the item that we had ordered. So regardless of the fish that was used, it was still the wrong dish. The owner made an insane scene at my grandmothers 85th birthday dinner, which really pissed me off! Let’s just go out on a limb and say that I’m wrong and that my 20 years working with seafood has taught me nothing… Should the owner have made a scene and brought out trays of raw fish from the kitchen and argue with me? You be the judge of that. Ultimately, remove the owner and lower the high prices and you would have a decent restaurant. Also, the restaurant is waaaaay too loud!!! The acoustics are horrible. I couldn’t hear the person right next to me. I will not be returning.

Dino’s was always an excellent, consistent restaurant. The food was always delicious. The service was personal and attentive. Unfortunately that has changed. The staff is totally new and I believe the chef is too. The little differences are obvious. From the bread to the desserts. Not the same. Not bad. But not the perfection of the past. Still good to go to but not with the same anticipation. So disappointed.. DEDE. M.

The food is always superior and the waitstaff is attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere is intimate without being crowded. Every dish we ordered was properly prepared, beautifully presented, delicious and worth the money. Our only regret is we can’t get there as often as we would like.

Went here for a family Sunday night dinner and was extremely happy with the immediate friendliness we received by the whole staff. Everyone was very attentive and smiling! We ordered the artichoke app, Pappardell dish and penne petit. I loved the Pappardell was so yummy I couldn’t stop eating it went well with the fresh warm bread they put on the table. My husband finished his dish before I could taste it! My son ordered the kids chicken finger meal(which we were so grateful for, we really loved that they catered to kids so everyone can have a nice time). I’m only sad that we didn’t have any room to pick something off the dessert cart, yes a dessert cart!!! Overall we really enjoyed are experience here and will return soon.

Ok food, ok service, ok place. My girlfriend and I wanted to try the Bonefish Grill, but the wait time was 2hrs. Ok, so we see a sign for Dino’s. Decide to give it a go. From the back parking lot, you’ll follow a slightly creepy ally and find a door. Go through and you get the feeling that you’re in Goodfellas, as you pass through some of the back of house. We’re greeted warmly and offered a table immediately. This is Saturday night so we’re very happy about this. The place had a nice décor and seemed to be adequately staffed. You’ll find the typical Italian dishes on the menu. We had some clams and calamari as appetizers. The clams were good but the calamari was somewhat bland. I had some spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and my gf had some gnocchi. Both were well disappointing. The biggest disappointment of the night though was the time it took us to get our food. Wait time was close to an hour. Def not expected considering the place wasn’t full nor did we order anything that should warrant that amount of wait time. There was no reason given for the excessive delay. Maybe I set my expectations too high? Service was so friendly coming in, but they dropped the ball as soon as we sat down. I’d be more understanding if the food delivered was spectacular, but as previously stated, it left a lot to be desired. Lots of other places to try before Dino’s.

Great family oriented restaurant. From the wait staff to the owner very very friendly. The Italian food is awesome. My husband gets the veal on the bone, and it literally melts in your mouth. The seafood is delicious and always fresh. Baked clams and stuffed artichoke are a must for appetizers.

What can I say? The baked clams are delicious. An the chicken parmigian was some of the best I’ve had. Some of the family had penne Ala vodka and was also very good. Apeitizer fried calamari was also very good. The chief made his appearance often at our table an a couple others. To me that says something about the character of the restaurant.

A great family friendly restaurant that separates itself from the” sea” of alternatives in Rockville Centre through its congenial servers, chef, owner and menu of tasty Italian dishes With specials to choose from daily and having the typical italian stand by alternatives as well on the menu there is a option and reasonable price for every diner. Coupled with a broad wine list and a dessert cart at the end of the meal to «die for», makes for a great meal. We have been coming for years and it has been consistant with its results through out. A mark of a good restaurant. If looking for a casual, welcoming, good food, and service Italian restaurant when in Rockville Center — this is the one.

The second I entered Dino’s, I felt like I entered a nursing home. The lighting is off and the furniture is a little tacky. I can totally understand an Italian restaurant going the way of a quaint Italian household, but Dino’s take it too far. It’s not very inviting. Fortunately for them, the food was delicious. We got there in time for the twilight special(4:30pm-6:30pm) and had our choice of soup or salad, a selection of entrees, and homemade dessert. I had a salad(which is a basic garden salad) and the eggplant parmesan with a side of pasta(a hefty and delicious serving). There were no options for dessert. We were served strawberries topped with a custard. Overall a hearty Italian meal. A great deal if you can get there during the twilight special, but otherwise prices are way too high for the type of atmosphere they provide.

The boom of a suburban New York town offers new surprises once we seek them. My complacency in the village that my mother grew up in – to venture away from the consistency of two or three places that the grandparents frequent on the reg — makes for an occasional adventure away from the city. This is a place full of regulars and authenticity, which can be seen in the greeting of those that come often by the staff. Menu is full of delicious Italian classics and homemade originals — Chicken Frances & lasagna to tagliatelle pasta with mushrooms and peppers — as well as a nice selection of wines and after dinner treats. Super friendly service and good vibe too.
