We established Silver Comet Bakery in order to serve a need in our local community. Our goal is to provide fresh and all natural baked goods, beautifully decorated cakes, and sandwiches at reasonable prices.

Fantastic family owned sandwich and bakery shop! Friendly service! The meatloaf sandwich is excellent! Baked goods are good, not excellent. The wedding cookies are very good! I will return!

Updated review: They finally set their prices. I’m a little concerned at some of the prices. Afterall, this is Polk County where the average median household income is less than $ 40k.
They are still working on expanding the menu. I look forward to trying new things… like pastries and donuts. I’m not a big fan of the breakfast sandwich (in general) which appears to be what keeps them busy.
The staff and owner are nice. But they need to get an open sign. It’s driving me crazy.
