Established in 2012.

Sun Phase Energy is a locally owned and operated solar company. Its founders have over 30 years of combined experience in the solar industry and are recognized solar college instructors, credited with developing and sustaining one of the most acclaimed and award-​winning solar programs in the country. Since 2009 we have been helping homeowners achieve their solar goals and training a local solar workforce to create local jobs and enable the Sacramento region to become one of the fastest growing solar markets in country.

Meet the Business Owner

Steve G.

Business Owner

Steve brings nearly 20 years of professional sales, marketing and business development expertise to the photovotaics industry. As an aspiring entrepreneur he has owned and/​or helped start dozens of businesses over the years including 3 software companies and 3 advertising/​pr firms.

Steve has worked in energy and photovoltaics (PV) being involved in the startup of 4 solar installation businesses, one of them named as a Top 10 installer in Northern California. Now he provides professional consulting and training for photovoltaic solar systems installers, as well as other green energy forums.

He has a broad depth of PV experience, including: leading installation jobs, supervising work crews, managing materials, and performing troubleshooting of electrical equipment and photovoltaic solar equipment. He has installed all major brands of photovoltaic panels, inverters and related power equipment. He has also trained hundreds of people in Photovoltaics.
