History
Established in 2015.
We created our program for parents that want to give the gift of bilingualism to their children and want to take advantage of the best window of opportunity for them to learn a second or third language (0 to 7 years).
Our fun-filled Spanish learning program is based on a storytime structure, parent participation classes that help parents to learn at the same time as their children and give them tools and ideas to practice at home.
We believe in the importance of reading aloud to children, the amazing impact of music during the learning process, and the powerful effect of parent involvement. We believe in the benefits and advantages of being bilingual and we know that Spanish is a PLUS.

Business Owner
I am a native from Colombia PR Specialist. I left my whole world behind to start my family in California 6 years ago. During the past 5 years my husband and I have been training ourselves on how to raise bilingual children and constantly offer our two children all resources available to support their bilingualism.
Three years ago, after being unable to find spanish storytime for kids at our local library in the Bay area, we began the idea of Spanish Plus Me. After moving to Rocklin we found the same absence of Spanish resources for young children, this led us to work with educators and reading specialists to shape our idea into a program that offers what we, as parents, were looking for: a fun and nurturing program based on the benefits of reading and singing in Spanish to children, with a personalized approach and a language learning focus.
I love to read, sing and play the guitar to my children, and that is also what I share with the students of Spanish Plus Me.
