Best Mongolian BBQ in the area by far and I have been to most of them. Vegetables are always fresh. Good choices for meats and vegetables. As clean as it gets for a buffet. Kimchee is awesome. Could use a few more dessert choices. Price is great and service is very good.

AMAZING food… we came here a couple of times and both times were awesome… The people here are so friendly and welcoming. My husband’s favorite thing is how they put the food on the pleat once it’s cooked… and I loved that as soon as we walked in one of the girls remembered us from last time, and she remembered /new that my husband was going to get the all you can eat deal… lol… this was our second time here and we are already in love with this place…

I really disliked my dinner here. The noodles and veggies seemed fresh enough, but the wok itself seemed seasoned but also looked to be uncleaned for quite awhile. Due to alot of burnt veggies and meat in catch tray below. It was extremely obvious that was more than a day or even two day catch. The salads were less than appetizing. They offered chicken salad and cabbage kimchee also sliced unripe oranges and egg drop soup which wasn’t very good. Although my stir fry bowl semed fine the egg roll an bowl of rice that was brought to my table were terrible. The egg rolls were not done and doughy but looked really dark telling me the fryer grease hasn’t been changed for awhile. The rice well that seemed a few days old as well hard but warm and tasteless. The staff was friendly enough, she came over a few times to fill water glasses and check on us. I didn’t complain though, I feel she must know the obvious issues with the place. No need to make a scene or explain how unhappy we were. It wasnt going to make a difference. We left feeling unsatisfied, and a little sick. Dont know if it was the food or the vibe. I notice that there are lot of great reviews, and a few bad. We decided to give them a try. Sorry to say we ended in the negative. Could of been a off night for them but im not going to chance it again.

Gross. They don’t clean the wok and the noodles get burnt pepper all over. The rice was nasty old and tasteless. We ate one bite, paid and left. #donteathere!

I’ve been going here for years! They know me and my family by name. We go maybe once a month and every time we go, it’s always good service.

Awful. For some reason my crap detector was on break when we walked in because we should have left immediately. First sign of trouble: the limp, listless Chinese chicken salad that had probably been sitting in the serving tray for hours. Nothing like a little chicken a la bacteria to start your meal. One bite lasted 1.5 seconds in my mouth before being spat out. Everything here seems to be created from the cheapest ingredients available. From bland eggrolls to all the self serve items which had clearly outlived their shelf life to questionable food handling practices(an employee took a mushroom I had dropped and placed it in back in the mushroom bin), there are better Mongolian places in the area such as the ones on Harding Blvd or Rocklin Rd. This place has the potential to make you sick, as evidenced by my wife puking her guts ten minutes after we left.

After last week’s farce at the Sizzle Mongolian place in Rocklin, we returned to go mongo for a great meal. Pleasant staff, an efficient and skilled cook meant no wait and lots of good food. Why this place isn’t busy can only be temporary until the crowd from Sizzle BBQ moves a few miles down hwy 65.

We have been on the hunt for a new BBQ place ever since we moved away from our favorite place of 35 years. As everyone knows, once you find the Holy Grail of Mongolian BBQ, most places will never compare… Fortunately, we have found a replacement. Go Mongo BBQ! So far, we have been here twice(one lunch, one dinner) and also plan on going tonight. The meats and veggies are clean, fresh and crispy. The sauces are spot on with a well explained directions for making your own personal taste. Any place can slice meat/vegetables and cook them, but the sauces are what set them apart. The interior of the place is dated but clean. Then, again, it’s not really about the décor, it’s about the food. They didn’t seem too busy, which I really can’t explain why… If you have never tried Mongolian BBQ, this is a good place to experiment as their prices are more than reasonable/affordable.

Go Mongo has all of your typical Mongolian BBQ meat and veggie options. The staff is friendly and my food was cooked quickly. The guy who picked all of the ingredients for my bowl was in tune with my likes and dislikes, there was a real synergy there. Wait, that was me. What really brought the experience down a peg for me were the side dishes. The soup and rice had no flavor and did not taste fresh.

I started coming here in high school. With that being said, and having one reunion pass, I’m a longtime fan. I haven’t been to this place in years. The taste is identical and of high quality. The noodles are great, especially with the house sauce! You can put whatever meats and veggies you like into the bowl. The chef fries it up right in front of you. The side dishes are good, and everything is fresh. After finishing a few minutes ago, I see the consistency of taste and quality haven’t changed. I highly recommend!

Sometimes it is nice to go to a place that gives you a lot of food for your buck. Go Mongo does that. For $ 7.35 you will get one pass through the Mongolian BBQ line with all of your usual favorites. You will get rice, egg roll, sweet and sour soup, wonton, and kimchee salad… Sheesh you can’t eat that much food. From what I tried it was pretty average. The sauces were a bit bland as my 2 ladles of Kung pao did nothing to the spice level. The rice needed help and the egg roll was lukewarm. If they had charged me more I might not be so generous, but every once in a while it is ok to get lot of average food for a cheap price.

This place used to be pretty good, but a visit there today shows how far they have fallen. A small change in the quantity of food one way or the other can make or break a place. The beef was grizzly. Even though it was dinner time and they charged dinner price they did not switch the turkey to lamb. The sauces or excessively salty. Soup was pretty awful, the rice seemed like it was a passable instant rice. Even though the restaurant was mostly empty the staff kept insisting on clearing our table before we were finished. If only they were as eager about cleaning the rest of the restaurant, especially back of house, instead of going back over to watch the TV. I am a 30 year resident of the area and I’ve eaten here many times before but something has changed for the worse.

Very good noodles! Good price too! The house sauce on the noodles mixed with veggies and garlic is bomb
