The owner was very spectacular! He talked to us and made us feel very welcome. Their Deep Fried Oreos are to die for and I absolutely loved their Funnel Cakes!

This place is great, they had a new girl working when I went and she was really nice. Owner seemed great too, very personable. Portions are huge and very tasty. Highly recommended!

Had to have some dessert after tonight’s dinner. So last weekend, we went to global winter wonderland at cal expo… Seen a funnel cake vendor there that was charging $ 14 for a plain powdered sugar funnel cake (about average price for a funnel cake at the fair or at amusement parks right?) this FCC spot we found on Unilocal was charging half the price for that same plain powdered sugar funnel cake! The owner recommended their special they call the GOLIATH! funnel cake with whipped cream. powdered sugar. A scoop of vanilla ice cream and choice of another topping. We picked their homemade warm peach cobbler! (and it’s STILL cheaper than cal expos plain powdered sugar funnel cake!!) Tell you what. We’ll be definitely hittin’ this spot back up again! Oh yeah… They have BOGO Sunday’s too!

This place is awesome! First of all, the service is stellar! Super friendly, and helpful! Secondly, it was super delicious! We got the Goliath with strawberries and peanuts! We also got deep fried oreos… so good! Definitely coming back here to try all the fun combos! Also saw that it is BOGO on Sundays!

I just left here with friends, and I must say… IT WAS AMAZING! The rice Krispy treat and the apple cinnamon funnel cake was heaven! The service was so good and the owner was so nice! I would suggest everyone try this place! #imdessertwasted

The Deep fried Oreos are amazing and this funnel cake is a million times better than at the fair. Delicious and I would Come back again and again. Oh and u have to get the rice crispies!!! We drove 30 minutes to come out here.

Awesome place! The owner truly takes his time to help each customer! The food takes just like the stuff you’d get at the fair or carnival, except you can get it year round here!

What if you had a second chance… well you’re in luck, because Something Wicked this way Comes!
Located in a strip mall just off the interstate, Fancy Funnel Cakes offers up several variations of its namesake as well as other rich indulgences like deep fried Oreos.
I tried the Gold Rush (4.99) which was a bowl of funnel «nuggets» topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and the topping of my choice which was strawberry. The nuggets were light and crispy and their crunchy texture complimented the creaminess of the whip and ice cream. The strawberry topping was just okay and tasted like a prepared topping out of a jar. Fresh fruit would have been a big plus here.
The Oreos (4 for 2.99) were dipped in funnel cake batter, deep fried and then dusted with powdered sugar. They were my favorite. The centers were warm gooey chocolaty goodness and met my craving for something sweet after consuming some hot wings at another restaurant just prior. While very good, they would have been even better with a scoop of ice cream in the bowl.
There were a couple of other items on the menu that caught my eye so I’ll be back another time when I have calories to spare. I left satisfied… but in need of a shower as hours later I could still smell that pungent aroma of the deep fryer clinging to my clothing.

What’s with the names of all these deep fried treats? It’s quite mysterious. Well, they are actually named (for the most part) after roller coasters from around the world.

We were so glad we found this place! The owner is extremely friendly and they have the best selection of guilty pleasures! Of all the toppings we tried, The Goliath with the peach cobbler was the best by far. The chocolate was good, the strawberry was better but the cobbler, homemade and fresh, is our favorite!

This review is a week late but I must say the deliciousness I experienced has not left my taste buds since. One of my best friends and I randomly Unilocaled dessert places in Rocklin after visiting Studio Movie Grill. We are both from Stockton so we definitely weren’t aware of awesome dessert places in Rocklin.
We were overwhelmed at how delicious the funnel cake was but indeed the highlight was the impeccable peach cobbler that topped our funnel cake. We also tried their deep fried Oreos which tasted like a decadent cake. Needless to say we were super satisfied! Definitely planning on making trips out to this place in the future. It’s a small shop but the flavor a definitely leave a lasting impression.

The best funnel cake I’ve ever had! We ordered the millenium — 3 ice cream scoops (vanilla only), 2 toppings (I chose peanut butter and chocolate syrup) and nuts topping for free. The cinammon was also a free topping but the worker let us know that it would overpower the taste so we chose not to add it. The funnel cake was so crisp and the ice cream scoops hefty. After a long day swimming at the lake and driving in the hot weather, this dessert really satiated my craving for something cold and sweet. The root beer float was also very good. I am not from this area but nextime I am I will definitely return.

My friend and I needed a dessert fix after watching Magic Mike XXL at Studio Movie Grill. She found this place on Unilocal and thank goodness she did!
The place is nestled in what seems to be a quiet shopping plaza. It was next to a training gym – the people that train there must have some serious self control because what’s cookin’ next door is some delicious fried and non-​fried goodies!
We came in on a Friday evening around 7’ish and no other customers were there (which really surprises me). I’m assuming the person that helped us was the owner, but even if he wasn’t, he was definitely very friendly, informative, and patient while my friend and I decided what we wanted to order.
He convinced us to order the Goliath — funnel cake with powdered sugar, ice cream, whipped cream, and 1 topping. They only have vanilla ice cream, which is okay with me but may not be okay to some. We opted to put the peach cobbler on it, and OH MY DAMN it was the best decision ever. The peach cobbler was warm, sweet, and complimented the fried dough perfectly. The batter has got to be one of the lightest and airiest I’ve ever eaten. My friend also ordered deep fried oreos. Nothing to say except that they were delicious.
Needless to say, the great customer service and delicious food will have us coming back next time we’re in the area!

Funnel cake was ok. I’ve had better. Can’t wait for the state fair. Just mainly came here for the kids. Too far for me though.

Funnel Cakes!!! This little gem of a place was a pleasant surprise. One day the family and I were craving desserts. We normally will have dessert after dinner, but not go to a place where that’s what they serve. I managed to find this using Unilocal,as I do with many establishments we’ve visited. Well what do you know, this place turned out to be excellent. I think that is the best thing about Unilocal.If it is a 5 star, my experience usually follows suit.
Fancy Funnel Cakes is not very far from our house. It is in an area of Rocklin that we’ve never visited. It’s in a quiet, nice area. The selection of Funnel Cakes is great. My wife and I shared the BMF: Bacon Maple Funnelcake. It was very tasty and a favorite.
The staff was very friendly and provided us prompt service. It is a small establishment but very clean and plenty of seating and ample parking. We enjoyed our visit and will be returning!

I’ve never had a funnel cake outside of The Fair. So for about six bucks you get a funnel cake with powdered sugar. Cinnamon and nuts are free! We added some whip cream to all that. So yummy.
If I were a kid I would be throwing tantrums to come here. They have a variety of deep fried goodies. A coworker got deep fried Oreos which were better than at The Fair.
If you have a sugar craving then this is the place for you. The guy that works there brought us out free waters as well. Clean and well handled establishment.

Not only were the funnel cakes amazing! But the peach cobbler was absolutely delicious!!! Like it totally reminded me of my moms peach crisp. I’ll def. be back very soon.

Located at the corner of the strip mall. This is a small mom n pop shop which it’s name says it all. The county fair amusement park fair in your neighborhood.
Staff is incredibly friendly and articulate menu well. Orders are taken and cakes are made to ofer and delivered to the table.
The funnel cakes are well sized and flavored. Topped with whipped topping or ice cream. One can elect for other additions (additional cost) or keep it simple. The cakes are hot and tasty.
Good: dessert choice to share with loved ones and good service.
Bad: priced treat like amusement park.
Overall four stars. Good treat. A little overpriced at a horrible location but worth a stop. I should come back.

What a find.
What really won me over at this place was the superior service. As soon as we walked in, the owner went through and described the entire menu to us. Simple gestures like that really make a difference in this sort of business.
We went with the Goliath… funnel cake topped with ice cream, whipped cream, and your choice of one topping. My choice was and has always been strawberry. For a little over $ 10…we definitely received a dessert worth every cent. The funnel cake was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The toppings were plentiful. Each funnel cake was enough to share between 2 people.
The place was super clean. Bathrooms were well kept. Parking was plentiful.
The owners also mentioned having a stand at the rivercats stadium and raging waters. Great carnival desserts if you ask me.
It’s nice to be able to get a funnel cake outside of a carnival setting. They also have other options such as fried Oreos and fried pound cake.

Very friendly owner. Bogo on Sundays. Located at the back of the shopping center. Nice clean large bright colorful interior. Really cool concept.
Funnel cake was crisp when I bit into it and then chewy on the follow through, which was great. Plenty of powdered sugar. You can’t have too much powdered sugar.
