C & R Landscape

This company really doesn’t care about quality. They recently started working at the very large property I live at. Each month they are here the property looks worse. The workers do not mow the lawns often and when they do they don’t cut the grass evenly. They don’t pull or spray for weeds. Because of this, we no longer have lawns, they have turned into dead gardens because of all the weeds that take the nutrients from the grass. This is the reason why the grass keeps dyeing. I’m surprised that a landscaping company can’t catch on to this.
On top of that, the workers themselves don’t even try to work. One of the porters that picks up trash at the complex is bilingual and overhead the workers talking to each other in Spanish. One of the workers was telling a new young worker who just started, «Don’t worry about what you do, just look busy and the staff here won’t notice.» I put up some recent pictures of their work and it speaks for itself.

A measure of a company is how they treat non-​customers.
Last Friday, I parked on the 400 Block of 8^th Street. When I returned, C & R personnel were leaving.
Having used their blowers on the sidewalk, they covered my car with leaves and debris. My Civic Si was so covered with crap I could not see out the windshield. The interior was a mess (I cracked the windows on account of the heat).
When confronted, the driver shrugged. Not our problem, he told me.
An employee’s attitude is a reflection of its management. C & R’s management doesn’t care about non-​customers. I hope this nasty company goes out of business.

This company also has a branch in the San Diego, CA. area and have the worst drivers. If they cant be polite and courteous traveling around town, I certainly wouldn’t let them work with my landscaping. The issue started today when I was at Home Depot In Clairemont on Balboa Ave. I parked and went inside the store. When I came out there was this 20 foot long oversized 1 ton industrial truck parked next to me so close I could not get in my door. There was lots of room as you can imagine in the home depot lot and this guy was way to lazy to park out a bit and avoid what just happened. I was on Lunch break and so was my coworker and could not get into my car to go back to work. I am talking about 3 inches from my drivers side door. My car is a 2012 Nissan Sentra which only has 1 key lock on the entire 4 doors for entry and although I did squeeze in to unlock it. I couldn’t get my door far enough open to click the unlock button for the passenger door. So I see a number on their truck and I called it (Thank God for cell phones including unlimited long distance plans) and a lady answered the phone. I told her my issue and she said she would get ahold of a supervisor in San Diego and contact the worker. who is now shopping somewhere in the store. 15 minutes later this smart ass guy comes out and I ask him where he learned to drive. I said «LOOK AT YOUR PARKING» and told him to come around and look at the truck and how close it was. He came around and said «F/​U man» and then I unloaded into swearing back at him which in turn he then said he would kick my ass if he wasn’t at work. What an Jerk. I would never do business with this company. I had taken pictures to send by messaging using my cell phone over to their corporate office and the lady had me on hold for most of the conversation said she never heard anything her worker said, but did hear me swear at him in Spanish which I admit. She said well, 2 wrongs don’t make a right but now we were late back to work by 10 minutes. All in all if you’re in the San Diego area, avoid this company. If they treated me like this a total stranger, they may treat you not so well ether. Times are tough and so is competition in the landscape business. I’d go with a company that has respect for the public
