History

Established in 2005.

Cathy and George purchased the 1862 Captain Zadoc F. Brewster House in 2004 and set about renovating and restoring it to its former beauty and elegance, retaining its original features, beautiful wood floors and gracious moldings.

The Downstairs apartment was opened for rental in 2005 and the Upstairs apartment in 2006, with Cathy and George living in the attached Caretaker apartment.

We continue as we started offering high quality vacation rentals in this beautiful historic house.

Meet the Business Owner

Catherine S.

Business Owner

A teacher and archaeologist by background, Cathy is a designer, decorator and photographer. She and her English husband George have designed and built over 100 websites, produced and published books and CD’s and numerous other media related items.

George is a boatbuilder and yacht architect as well as a skilled carpenter and woodworker. Together Cathy and George have lovingly restored, renovated and furnished the grand 1862 Sea Captain’s House to make two elegant apartments
