Established in 1988.

We decided to create a balance between art, science and service — The Art of Beauty and Body Care.

Have been consistently visiting this spa 3 – 4 times a year for a massage. I have had a handful of massage therapists and all have been great! The establishment is tranquil and offers great products. I always look forward to my visit.

I’m due for another hair cut at the end of this month, but wanted to stress my happiness level with how my hair has grown out since my last trim. I received the BEST hair cut of my life from Stephani B. I know this based on how my hair grew out these last few weeks, it was perfect in length– this was so rare, because for someone like me who was continuously trying to find a stylist that envisioned what i was envisioned was tough. I WAS SO TIRED OF BAD HAIR CUTS… How ever, that changed. I have been taken care of by Stephani B as long as she’s been a apart of the WM team. She cut my hair and did my pedicures as an apprentice, but because of her fantastic work I have been a committed client ever since. I haven’t had a consistent stylist in years and after I let Steph get ahold of my hair it has been healthy and growing faster than ever because her recommendation of products and routine maintenance. She clearly cares about her clients and it shows! I referred her to my personal friends and family and they have had nothing short of great results from her as well. WM made a fantastic decision by inviting her to the team, she is a complete asset. WM as a whole is a high end salon that only offer luxury services with top shelf hair and body products. The minute you walk in you are greeted and offered a beverage (coffee, tea, water, wine)… and offer to refresh during your service. Not your «average» salon at all, from start to finish WM creates a wonderful experience. Thank you WM and Thank you Stephani.

My mother and I came here for manicures and it was fantastic! They offered us coffee, tea, water and even wine to us! I had Kayla and she was such a great person to have do my nails. I loved what she did and she was great company. I highly recommend this place

Tried to make an appointment after business hours and left a message, no call back in 8 days. Guess they don’t need my money. I have tried Asha and liked them. I didn’t feel as pampered, but they do return calls and do follow ups!

Not going back here. Going back to Asha. I decided to give them a try (I typically go to Asha) and it was very disappointing. I had a no chip manicure, facial, conditioning treatment and style .The weekend I was there, their water heater broke so that meant either i reschedule or get my hair washed with freezing cold water… I don’t have time to come back and struggled to make time for that day so I decided to suck it up and get my hair washed with ice cold water. My manicure was guaranteed for a week… They chipped on day 4 and I wasn’t able to go in that week to get them fixed. I was SOL… Worst $ 30 spent… Asha does a much better job… When they called me the next day to see how my «experience» was I told them it sucked md why and I just got basic apology. I know it wasn’t their fault their water heater broke but either was it my fault… So never going back simply because of poor customer service. And I will be sure to tell others to go to Asha instead.

Love that it’s a shower spa place! Personally after a massage I like to shower. Everything is accessible (wheelchair) but I didn’t give it a 5 stars because I can never get it. It seem like there isn’t enough massage therapist if you want to book same day or even a few day in advance.

If I’m going to disrobe and get rubbed down by a complete stranger, they better do a good job… and they always do at Weis Morriss. I have had many massages by many different people here and my hands down favorites are Kelly and Raeann. They’ve all had skilled hands, professional attitudes and stellar work ethic; however, these two ladies provided experiences that stood out to me.
The spa is always quiet, relaxing and clean. My only constructive comment is that sometimes the steam room is not working– it would be nice if someone called to tell you that the day of the appointment if it is not available. I always go early to take advantage of the steam room and have arrived, on occasion, to it being out of order… which makes my heart sad.
But, overall, I always have a great experience and leave very relaxed.

I am really surprised by all the negative reviews here. I live in Chicago and still come back to Rockford to get my hair done here and I just recently got a massage at WM too. I have been very pleased by the inviting environment and treatment while I’ve been there. I’ve worked with mutiple stylists and colorists and have felt this across the board, however I have found someone that most fits what I like, in terms of cut and color, as well as personality (should out to Kayla! The girl can rock the ombré :)) My spa experience was excellent as well. The waiting area was glorious and relaxing and the massage itself was better than most I’ve had.

Very disappointing. I purchased a gift card for someone who was struggling financially and needed a lift. She requested a facial only to find out they charged her an additional $ 30.00 because a «level 3» person provided the service. There was no mention of the additional charge when the appointment was made — so my gift ended up costing my struggling friend money out of her pocket. When I called to talked to the manager she was too busy and failed to return my call. BEWARE of their pricing strategy… VERY poor business practice!

My fiancé purchased a gift card for me for Christmas last year. I was really excited because I hadn’t had a facial or massage in years. The massage was great, but it was cut 10 minutes short. I made sure to check my phone before and after beacuse I was worried this would happen. Then, I got a great facial, until I heard pots and pans knocking around from the resturant next door. Talk about relaxing… NOT!
Someone called a few days later to see how I had liked everything and when I told her I was really disappointed and explained what happened she generically apologized and promised a manager would be calling me back the next day. It has been months and I’m still waiting on a phone call.
I will NEVER go back. Their services are WAY too expensive to be cut short or have pots and pans banging around during.

This is one place that is consistent in the quality with their spa services. Their facials are outstanding! All of the estheticians are experienced and have a vast knowledge of my skin type and their products. The messages, hydrotherapy, body services, waxing are all excellent. The spa staff is consistently professional and courteous.
I did get my hair shampooed and flat ironed and it was not a pleasant experience at all. When I made my appointment, I asked for their senior stylist who is experienced with my curly hair texture. The girl that I got was very inexperienced and the salon staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable as they made comments and looked on. The gal kept saying, «it is so curly, it is so curly» as if that’s a bad thing.
The manicures are just ok and the pedicures are good. I have had several. The Mani and Pedi at Asha are better.
I love the spa environment and its amenities. It is a great place to go at least 30 minutes prior to spa services and just relax.
Spa prices are expected. Prices for products are expensive and they do a good job of «selling.» I can go online and purchase products sometimes 40% less than what they are asking. However, I still end up with a bag full of products when I leave!
I am in search of a spa in Rockford or outside of the city that offered everything under one roof and one with excellent customer service-​consistently. I would be the perfect customer!

My regular hair stylist at Asha was gone and I really needed a cut. I saw online that their haircuts started at $ 28 and up. The stylist I had was nice. She attempted small chit chat but it was very generic. Overall I loved the hair cut she gave me. She listened very well to what I wanted and didn’t complain when I askedfor something.
Somethings i didn’t like was the reception girl was very rude. Shedid not smile or say a greeting. Also when i called to make an appointment I thought I had the wrong answer because I just heard giggling in the background. My cut was $ 35 though they did not tell me why. The atmosphere is geared towards middle aged white women because I did not see any minorities aside from myself. Probably won’t go back.

The woman who did my nails was really nice. I was here as part of a bridal party, most of whom where getting manicures and pedicures. I only requested a manicure and when I arrived they told me I could go in for my pedicure. Um, I didn’t ask for one. Then they told me I had to wait to get my manicure even though 2 other members of our party were getting manicures and there were empty spots.
My french tips chipped during the reception and the woman at the front desk was rather rude.

weis-​morris is a great little spa. remember, this is rockford, illinois. it’s no bliss.
it’s a newer building, which is nice. everything still seems very clean. the attention to detail is not immaculate, but it suffices. the fireplace in the waiting area is a very nice touch.
my masseuse was excellent. she was very friendly and had wonderful hands. i like a nice, firm pressure rub down. she really got in there and worked on muscles i didn’t even realize were sore or tight.
i felt like everything smelled like cigarette smoke though. i realize this is the midwest. when i lived in the midwest i smoked cigarettes. guess everyone who works at weis-​morris does too. the lockers smelled like it, and i got whiffs of stale nicotine in the treatment room. didn’t bother me, but it was definitely apparent. i think if people have an acute sense of smell and hate ciggies they would be bothered.
they also do a nice job with hair color/​styling. i used to go here in college to get my hair done. nothing stellar, but it works. points for carrying kerastase and bumble and bumble.
