History

Established in 1987.

Like so many musical instrument stores, Randee’s Music started as an organ store over three decades ago in the Cherry Vale Mall in Cherry Valley, Illinois. Beginning in 1987, owners Randy and Joel transitioned the business from the Lowrey Organ Center to Randee’s Music Center. After moving out of the mall we opened our first freestanding location in 1990. Besides already offering acoustic and digital pianos, other important departments including guitars, pro audio, digital recording and a sheet music selection were added at this time. Then, in the early 2000’s we were excited to open a brand new and expansive guitar department stocked full of hundreds of fretted instruments. Over the decades, it has pleased us to see the music instruments we sell make music on every continent, even Antartica!
