History

Established in 1998.

Doug Davidson started the business of as a normal machine shop called Rockford Manufacturing and Material Handling. It was a successful business but being a veteran of the Air Force Doug knew there was more to be done. So on this journey of figuring out what is next. He came up with the design for our HV16. Ramsplitter has not stopped growing since. We are now in several hardware store chains, Rental Stores and in the homes of hundreds of peoples around the world. No wonder Ramsplitter slogan is The Toughest Log Splitters In the Business.
