We called Advanced Chimney Systems to our home last year because our gas fireplace was not lighting. They came out (and were very friendly) and told us they needed to order a part and would get back to us. The charge was around $ 80 for that visit. They never called back to repair the fireplace. This year we called them back because we still haven’t fixed the fireplace. They came back out and again charged us $ 80 dollars to tell us the exact same thing. It has been over a month and we haven’t heard from them, AGAIN. To be fair, since I knew the minimum cost for them to come out was going to cost us $ 80 I asked them to inspect my other fireplace. He inspected it in literally less than a minute and said it was fine. I feel totally ripped off. Don’t use them!

Yup! This is as fabulous as it gets in Rockford for service and quality!
We have 2 wood burning fireplaces in our home and ACS comes once each year to service our chimneys. We have also visited their showroom on multiple occasions to make purchases… such as our gorgeous fireplace inset doors that cost a fraction of what the competitors were asking and other items such as heat proof gloves, fatwood and grilling necessities. I will be heading there this weekend to purchase some rubs for our weekend cookout.
ACS is family owned and you can absolutely tell the difference.

FIVE STAR operation! What a breath of fresh air to not only have the service man (Jay) show up on time but be courteous and HONEST!!! We scheduled a chimney cleaning and inspection but ended up not needing a cleaning. Jay checked the top of the chimney, and recommended maintenance but did not pressure me as he said it would likely be okay until next season. (While he was up on our roof, he asked for a push broom and swept out my overflowing gutters too! What a kind gesture!!!) Upon request, Jay gave me options for our inefficient furnace that would allow us to use an alternative to gas. Cant wait to work with this family owned business in the future. True professionals that go above and beyond.
