Action Towing

I do not write many 1-​star reviews, but this company definitely deserves a 1-​star review. I’d give them a 0-​star review if I could.
This business is just one tiny little notch above a criminal operation. When my wife was involved in an auto collision (not caused by her, but rather an uninsured driver), this towing company responded to tow the car despite my wife NOT calling them or requesting them to do anything. In other words, it’s like they stole the car.
The company REFUSED to permit me or any of my family members to retrieve any personal items or valuables in the car other than house keys until their bill was paid in full. I’ve used many towing companies in the past and what would typically cost $ 50 – 100, this company demanded over $ 600 and in lieu of paying the bill, we could just give them the title of the car. In other words, they towed my car without permission, charged whatever they wanted to charge (well in excess of what any normal company would charge), and then offered to help me by allowing me to sign the title of my car over to them for the privilege. Absolute criminals!
