Description

Specialties

Original live music, coffee, tea, art, culture and cupcakes.

Think «café», not «coffee shop» or «bar». We serve Intelligentsia coffee and tea, sandwiches, flatbreads, bruschetta, local craft beer (Great River), a couple domestics and California wine. Free wifi (with no time limit) is available to our customers. And some of the best shows in the Quad Cities, and revolving exhibitions grace our walls monthly.

History

Established in 2011.

The name comes from Gary Panter’s Rozz-Tox

Manifesto, written in 1980 and argues that

artists should work within the capitalist system

to reach a larger audience.

We now have two shops in two different

countries– Guangzhou, China and of course,

Rock Island, IL. Our space in Guangzhou is

called LOFT345, est. 2003. Google it.

We opened ROZZ-TOX on April Fool’s Day 2011.

ROZZ-TOX is a café, cultural space, gallery, and

music venue.
