Family owned and operated for over 30 years. We started as a small company in the small town of Irvington Illinois. Phillip Howe moved his family to Rock Hill, SC many years ago and has gained the reputation as one of the highest quality flooring installers in the Rock Hill and Fort Mill South Carolina areas. Our reputation for quality, value, and family values is what sets us apart from the big-​box stores. We’ve learned that developing real ongoing relationships with our customers is where we provide real value. We strive to build relationships with the homes we service, from our family to yours.

Business Owner

Phillip Howe grew up in the small town of Irvington Illinois as the son of a business owner and musician. Their family revolved around music, family, and hard work. The family business being flooring, Phillip became the heir apparent to the family business. Several years after Phillip moved his family to Rock Hill, SC as one of the fastest growing cities in the US. Even with trying economic conditions, Howe Floor Covering continues today to be one the highest quality installers in the Rock Hill, Charlotte, and Fort Mill area. We often get new customers calling us saying that they see our trucks with the big Howe indian driving around town. If you see the truck, it is usually Big Phil (As opposed to little Phil who is off at college for music), and he’s always happy to send a friendly wave in your direction.
