I took my mother to All American Bar & Grill for her birthday and we had a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. The restaurant is located in the Village on the lower floor of a building with a somewhat discreet entrance. The atmosphere was a kind of «casual elegance to just plain casual» with people seen in jackets with tie (this author) to jeans and a t-​shirt, kind of how you would expect a Michelin-​starred establishment in the Village to be.

This restaurant/​bar and grill have been many things over the past decades. The most recent iteration seems to be a success. The soup is fantastic, the taco salad perfect. They have a very popular all-​you-​can-​eat fish and shrimp fry on Fridays. I was staying for the week at the attached hotel and am originally from the area. Low prices on plentiful well-​prepared food, great service, along with beer on tap will have me coming back on future trips.
Myonly critique is the place is very dated. Who has carpet anymore? And the ceiling panels need replacement. I know the economy is down, but put some money in appearance.
