Xceed Financial is a full-​service financial institution open to serving new members from diverse backgrounds and various businesses. But, we’re a credit union, which is an important distinction. That means we’re member-​owned and operated — giving you a personal say in how we do what we do. Also, we’re not-​for-​profit, so the revenue we do earn goes back to you and all members in the form of lower rates and fewer fees.

History

Established in 1931.

While in 2014 we celebrated our 50-​year association with Xerox Corporation, our roots actually go back to 1931 when Rochester Postal Employees Credit Union was founded. That institution, which eventually became Rochester Federal Credit Union, merged with Xceed in 2008 – the same year we changed our name from Xerox Federal Credit Union to Xceed Financial Federal Credit Union to reflect our expanded field of membership and new business model. With a nod to our roots, the name Xceed speaks to our passion for helping our members realize their dreams. Today, we are the workplace credit union for employees and businesses across the country.
