Town & Country is where I take my dry cleaning. So far I’ve had no issues with their service. My interaction with the staff has been mostly friendly. I believe they have the most flexible hours in Brighton: 7am-8pm M-F and 8am-5pm Sa. Prices are competitive but definitely not cheap. They have been most accommodating with next day service. My only annoyance is that they don’t take credit card and only accept cash. They will be my go-to place until I find someplace better!

I use T&C because they use the GreenEarth method, which is better than PERC for the environment. The employees are a mixed bag of friendly and unfriendly. They also only accept cash or checks, which I think is a mistake for most businesses whose average transaction is upward of $ 20 but I digress. Being a greener cleaner is enough to warrant the three stars for me. It’d be five if not for the inconsistent service and the no cards thing.

I brought a comforter to Town & Country Cleaners to be cleaned. After standing there for a few minutes waiting to be called(which they didn’t), I walked up to the counter, where the employee said nothing, but did gave me a nasty look(at least it was something). She pushed a piece of paper toward me and told me to write my information on it(I assumed to be entered it into the system). I don’t suppose she had the ability to just type it as I told her what it was. She kept hitting the wrong keys on the register, because she had these gross inch-long, badly colored nails to go with her numerous tattoos and her very pleasant attitude. A lovely experience… I won’t be back.
