Total Tan

I would have given more stars because the tanning itself and he facility is good but staff and customer service are so big to me that I can’t.
I am generally against tanning but knew I was too pale for a week in Mexico without being burnt to a crisp, so I decided to do 1 week. After looking around at many places I decided on here because they have a good price for the bed that I wanted and it is a convenient location in panorama plaza.
It was $ 20 for 1 week with a level 2 bed. I also bought some lotion which was expensive but they always are. The person who helped me pick it out was great and understood that my husband and I wanted to share a bottle and finding something for the both of us would be hard since I easily tan and he is a ginger who needs 1 straight year of tanning to match up my pale. She did a great job and in the end we were both happy with the lotion.
The beds were always clean and available. It seems as if the facility is well taken care of.
My only real problem with my whole experience was a staff member named Taylor who would do anything for a sale but said she didn’t make any commission she was just trying to help me out. She told me they had a one day sale for 1 year of tanning for a level 1 bed for $ 100 then she went on and on about how much money I would save. I told her I wasn’t interested but thank you and she said oh weird your husband said you would want it when he was in earlier. Now I’m mad at my husband for putting me on the spot like that when he knows I don’t care for tanning. I get home and start yelling at him and he says wait a minute! She told me that she told you about the sale yesterday and you said I would be interested in it! Did Taylor really think that as husband and wife we wouldn’t talk about this??? Way to try and pit a married couple against each other! And she told me it was a 1 day sale but told Adam I knew about it the day before which would make it a 2 day sale? After that I was angry but didn’t know that I was going to be even angrier.
The next day I go in and Taylor decides I need different tanning lotion. I told her I liked what I had and it was working. She told me Adam is getting tanner than I am and I informed her it was an optical illusion, he is really just all freckles, not tan. She then proceeded to tell me how sexy my husband’s freckles were!!! That is not okay!!! DO NOT HIT ON MY HUSBAND TO ME!!! Needless to say after trying to pit Adam and I against each other and then hitting on my husband, I was done. I still had 2 days left in my week and I didn’t finish them, I didn’t know if I would be able to control myself around this girl.
If I didn’t have to deal with Taylor I would have made this a 4 star review but she made my experience so awful that I just can’t. Thankfully, I know I don’t need to tan anytime soon but if I did I would just pay more to go elsewhere and not have to deal with her.

I’ve been going to Total Tan since I started my tanning days back in high school and it is the best tanning salon I’ve ever been too. The employees are very friendly and always greet you when you come in or leave. They are very knowledgeable about the beds, lotions and about indoor tanning. Best of all the place is extremely clean, never lotion on the walls and they vacuum the room after every time it is used. They have a great variety of beds and always have specials going on. If you are in need of some vitamin D (or spray tan) Total Tan is the place to go!
