We’ve been looking for a killer wing spot closer to home. Thought we’d give this place a shot. We ordered the 3rd deal read to me over the phone: a medium pizza with 1 topping (pepperoni), 20 wings and a 2-​liter for $ 23 and change before tax.
Overall the pizza was just ok. Nothing making it outstanding, and nothing making its terrible. The wings were not too crispy which was quite disappointing. Also, my husband and I both noted that the medium wing sauce as well as their version of sweet&sour sauce had a weird tang, and not in a good way. Needless to say, the leftover wings sat in our fridge for 2 days as neither of us have any desire to go for round 2. Lastly, I’d like to note that they gave us celery…3 tiny pieces with our 20 wing order, and it was wrapped in tin foil. Weird, right?

Sat nite stopped in to cure my craving for Mac salad. Very strange no celery, carrots or onion in Mac salad!!! Hmmm! Only 2 tables to sit at if u just want to eat out but the Pizza I saw a customer eating looked good. Maybe I will stop and try pizza MAYBE!!!

This place is awesome! Fast, friendly service and great food. I went in on my lunch break a couple weeks ago and didn’t have much time. I’m a loyal Nick Tahou’s fan, but I went for the garbage plate and it didn’t disappoint like other places in town. I’ve been back a couple times since and have ordered fries, chicken fingers, slices of pepperoni pizza, and pizza logs. Everything exceeded expectations, including their soda selection (Mountain Dew Code Red AND Voltage?!). Not a lot of room to sit and eat, but I believe most people take it to go. Finally, it was very clean, especially for a fried food take out place. I recommend to everyone!

New owners took over Tony’s Birdland on West Ridge and they are doing a great job! The place has been scrubbed top to bottom and everything has been painted fresh. No greasy residue stuck to everything like you find at some pizza shops.
We had the chicken finger pizza with sweet and sour sauce (they make it in house and you can buy it by the bottle!!). The crust was tender and they didn’t skimp on the chicken — lots of meaty chunks. We also got an order of boneless wings. Super tender chunks of white meat with the perfect amount of breading, then slathered in more of that awesome sauce!
They also have pizza by the slice ready to go which is great for a quick lunch break run. Will totally be coming back!
