Mr. Corletta is a 1977 graduate of Allegheny College, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He is also a 1980 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. He has been a criminal defense, bankruptcy, family law and DWI lawyer for more than 30 years. Mr. Corletta has had numerous published cases and has argued before both the Appellate Division and the New York State Court of Appeals, the State’s highest Court, as a solo practitioner on significant Constitutional issues, as well as issues relating to DWI. He has well over 40 written or published opinions by New York State Courts on DWI.

Reports of Mr. Corletta’s cases have appeared in numerous scholarly treatises and articles. He concentrates the majority of his criminal defense practice in the defense of drinking/​driving cases. Mr. Corletta handles approximately 150 such cases per year and practices in 11 different Western New York counties.
