History

Established in 2010.

Located at 75 Marshall Street in the Wadsworth Square/​Monroe Avenue neighborhood in the City of Rochester, The Owl House has a rich history. Built in 1867 as a home for the Rochester deputy sheriff, the building was converted into a commercial restaurant in the 1950s and renovated by the current owners. Its unique and inviting décor makes The Owl House an ideal place to gather for good food and conversation.

With previous experience at a similar restaurant in Boston, Jeff knew that he could improve upon the concept of a diverse menu in his hometown of Rochester. Today he leads a team dedicated to providing The Owl House guests with an unforgettable dining experience, no matter their diet preferences. He’s passionate about good food and drink and looks forward to many more years of sharing that passion with diners!
