I was forced to share a Scratch burger ($ 8) at the recent Food Truck Rally in Henrietta. It was cheesy and flavorful and delicious. Beef patty on a toasted roll with mozzarella, bell peppers, onion, tomato, bacon, and chipotle aioli, accompanied by a few green olives and some random veggies. It was definitely the highlight of the day. The beef was cooked through but it wasn’t dry, the mozzarella was a fresh slab, the peppers and onions were sautéed and grilled, oh the thing was just perfect. The flavors played off each other to create a burger that was both familiar and also unique. Superb.
