Scott Miller is a boutique full service hair and beauty salon. In 1985, Scott and Helen Miller opened a small salon in the village of Fairport, New York with a dedication to provide uncompromising style, luxurious produces, and unparalleled service. They found like-​minded individuals to join them and by 1998 the salon was bursting at the seams. Scott and Helen decided to move their operation to Pittsford.

The new Scott Miller became an oasis of taste and sophistication. Until then, brands like Bumble and bumble, Oribe, Kérastase, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Jo Malone and Acqua di Parma were only found in metropolitan boutiques hours away. Now customers were within easy reach of quality products and a caring, courteous, knowledgeable staff. The services they provide include hair care, skincare, makeup, nails, and waxing.

Scott Miller’s mission is for every customer to deserve a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment and a staff committed to seamless customer service, education, creativity, and professionalism. With two locations in the village of Pittsford and Webster, NY, Scott Miller wants their clients to have an outstanding immersive experience.

Scott and Helen Miller opened a small salon in the village of Fairport, NY with one simple goal: to provide the best service possible.

They envisioned a beauty resource for Western New York. A place where creativity would flourish and clients would be treated like royalty. Where style would be in the now and education would be ongoing.

This appealed to many like-​minded individuals and by 1998, they outgrew the birthplace of Scott Miller Salon and moved to their flagship location in Pittsford, NY. The newly christened «Scott Miller» was an oasis of innate taste and modern sophistication. It soon became the home of industry-​leading brands Bumble and bumble, Oribe, Kerastase, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Acqua di Parma and Jo Malone. The city elites have arrived at Scott Miller.

Business Owner

In 1985, Scott Miller Salon had 800 square feet and two employees. The business grew. In 1994, Scott met Michael Gordon, founder of Bumble and bumble, with whom he began a partnership that has had a huge impact on their businesses.

Scott Miller Salon was bursting at the seams by 1998 when Scott and Helen decided to move the operation to Pittsford, NY. With 7000 square feet of space, including a 1000 square foot retail store, the newly christened «Scott Miller» became a brand new business model for the salon industry, carrying premium department store makeup lines as well as hard to find cult brands found in far-​flung metropolitan centers.

Today, Scott and Helen oversee two locations and employ more than 150 well-​curated staff members. And Scott continues to do what he loves. Cutting hair alongside established stylists as well as up-​and-​comers.
