History

Established in 1948.

Max Schneiderman purchased the general store in Meadowlands, MN in 1948. His entrepreneurial spirit was shared by his wife Edna and passed down to his 5 children.

From those humble beginnings Schneiderman’s Furniture has grown to be one of the most respected furniture companies in the Midwest with six locations throughout Minnesota — four in the Minneapolis/​St. Paul area, one store in Rochester, and our Duluth location in St. Louis county. The company is still owned and operated by the Schneiderman family who, along with a dedicated and knowledgeable sales and service staff, continue to uphold the commitment to quality and value that Max and Edna Schneiderman started all those years ago.
