Amerks hockey is one of my favorite winter activities. I used to have season tickets but with all the other things going on in and around Rochester I was missing too many games to warrant having the season seats. I go to between 7 and 12 games a year normally and always enjoy myself. I am a live hockey fan(not a huge TV hockey fan) and now that the amerks are back to being affiliated with the Sabres it is cool to see guys that you can watch if you are a Sabres fan. Evan people who aren’t hockey fans enjoy taking in an Amerks game once in a while. They often have happy hour specials on their Friday games and the food selection is pretty vast(they have a garbage plate with mac and cheese which is awesome). Plus as the Sabres get better(which it appears that they are) then the Amerks should also begin to get better as well.

Good times, lots of good seats and very«family» oriented for a hockey game. Decent prices for snacks and beverages most items are four to six dollars. The play is pretty decent and with the closeness of most seats the action can be enjoyed up close. They also do a good job of showcasing the action on the«jumbo-tron.» Varying prices make it a fair deal cost-wise. The fan base is very enthusiastic too. Parking in and was better than many events and if you choose the civic center garage it’s only eight dollars.
