My neighborhood pizza spot. We ALWAYS get the Doc special. Seriously, I’ve never had anything else on the menu. The Doc is a white pizza with spinach, tomato, artichoke, mozz, and ricotta cheese. It’s greasy, but worth it! because we live so close, we always get take out– everyone who works there is friendly enough, but it can get loud.

This was my second time ordering from Little Venice, and finally realized that this place completely sucks and any charm that the locals have told me is a goddung lie. First time I ordered a large chicken finger pizza, took an additional 35 minutes after the quoted pickup time. The pizza was over-baked, the crust like Melba toast and overly greasy, I thought«hey not every pizza comes out the same like they say about making waffles»… Went there for lunch today and ordered a slice of pizza for my husband, a cheese burger sub and pizza logs to split. The order was $ 28.00! For a slice of pizza, a sub and FOUR little pizza logs! The pizza slice like before was over cooked, dry and this time also burned. The pizza logs were ok, nothing grand to distinguish them. The sub had two over cooked and dried out generic burger patties from the freezer isle which were on top of burned cheese toppled with wilted lettuce, two tomato slices and nothing else. I guessing they’re changed me for the lettuce and tomato toppling that was advertised included on the menu… It took them almost a half an hour to make my order, 10 minutes of that time was when I seen the staff all smoking out in front of the front entry door. I will not recommend this dump unless you are looking for burnt and overpriced. I should have just gone to Harry G’s at the corner which is WAYBETTER.

Just wasted $ 11 on the worst calzone ever from Little Venice. It was overflowing with gross cheese, only about 10 pepperoni inside, and completely tastless. What a dissapointment.

The owner is super rude and mean. They charge you extra for about every topping in the steak sub even for the cheese. The place looks like a dump in the inside. Better places in the area.

Always a delight at little Venice. They have great pizza! Never dissapointed, best pizza in the south wedge area if you ask me! Free delivery!

Decided NOT to go with the«chain» pizza place. Unfortunately, the pizza was delivered luke warm. The side of the pizza with onion was overloaded with barely melted mozzarella and the onions were an afterthought. The pizza had no character whatsoever but most disappointing was the fact that it was almost cold. Going back to making pizza at home. Sigh

My boyfriend and I stopped into Little Venice Pizza just to grab a quick bite on a Tuesday evening. We grabbed a slice of pepperoni($ 3) and a slice of cheese pizza($ 2.50). The sauce tasted fresh and the crust was just right — crispy with a bit of dough to it without being too thin. We both loved it. The prices for a full pizza seemed a bit higher than some other places, but after trying their slices, we’re ok with that. :) They have a minimum for credit card purchases($ 6, i think). There’s a number of chairs and tables inside and the owner was very friendly. If you grab one of their menus there are coupons on the back. They also deliver, which is great. Would much rather give my business to a local place in my community.

In the search for the next great Wing spot we tried Little Venice Pizzeria. We had their Medium Buffalo Wing sauce. Good heat, a nice crisp but they used a cheaper tougher wing. Overall a average wing experience. Their pizza had nice chewy crust, but it was nothing special. It tasted very fresh. The pizzeria has been in the south wedge for over 25 years.

I have always been happy to support and promote neighborhood businesses that work hard to not only provide excellent customer service but also build community. For example, Mis En Place, Premier Pastries, Coffee Connection, Hedonist and Cheesy Eddie’s have made very generous donations to city kids fundraising for events in city schools. Yay them. By the same token, I believe in pointing out when a business has recently done the opposite. Recently, a dear friend who lives in this neighborhood lost her father. Knowing how difficult it is to think about mundane responsibilities in the midst of grief, I went to Little Venice pizza and bought two gift certificates for her, knowing that she buys her pizza there because they are a neighborhood small business, even though they have declined opportunities to sponsor certain neighborhood events in the past. When she went in to buy a pizza yesterday, the amount of the pizza came to half of the amount on the gift certificate. The owner refused to either give her the cash back or to give her credit. There was nothing on the gift certificate stating that this was Little Venice’s policy. Furthermore, not only was he duplicitous, he was horribly rude to her when she — politely — questioned this practice. So, I encourage you to reconsider buying your pizza from a place that basically took my money for nothing and was hurtful to a woman who selflessly entertains, encourages and educates the children of our neighborhood all year long whether on the playground or the baseball field.

Any positive reviews these guys have are fake. I ordered pizza from them. They told me it would take 45 minutes, it arrived 2 hours and 35 minutes later. The pizza was both cold and burned. That’s not even the worst part of it. I checked my credit card bill a few days later and they charged me double. When I called and spoke to the manager he told me to submit a cliam in writing to the owner, then hung up on me. I called MC, waited on hold for an hour and a half MC reversed to whole charge. MC told me never to use my card there again because they had a lot of fraud complaints. Don’t do business with these guys.

TERRIBLE! Greasy, soggy pizza! Expensive! We paid 30 $ for a large pizza and 10 wings. You can find better pizza for much cheaper out there! Don’t waste your money!

Pizza dough wasn’t fully cooked and was ridiculously oily on the bottom. Called to complain and manager did not want to make any offer to satisfy me. First and last time ever coming here

We were in the hospital for our daughter’s birth last week, and it was late. One of the nurses recommended this place, and since we were SO tired, we ordered a pie. It was a white with sausage and peppers. Delicious, quick, hot. The delivery guy was nice too, so we ordered again when my parents were in from out of town, this time a half hawaiian, half pep, and it too was awesome! They even threw in some fried dough. The ingredients are plentiful and quality, the crust is tasty and not too thick. Overall one of the top 10 pizza joints in the Roc, well worth your time, and your dime!

Very tasty, very greasy! Grease comes right thru the bottom of the box so don’t set it on your car seat. Crust on a pepperoni was crisp and moderately thin. Toppings were plentiful. Delivery service was courteous and prompt. I have not tried other items, so my A-OK rating is just based on a one time purchase. Would not hesitate to order again.

A friend of mine had told me about Little Venice’s Garbage Plate Sub, and after 6 months of waiting I finally got around to trying one. I only have one regret after eating it, and it’s the fact that it took me so long to try it! The bread was perfectly done, not too soft and not too crunchy. The best part is, it tastes like an actual garbage plate and not just a bunch of ingredients thrown onto some bread. The hot sauce was great, it wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy, just hot enough to leave a warm sensation on my face. If you’re looking for something new to try, the garbage plate sub is a definite!

I ordered the Philly cheese steak & a slice of cheese pizza to go. The pizza was pretty much tasteless the Philly was ok nothing special. I sat and waited for them to be prepared the dinning area is cute and clean I must say. However the entire 20 min I waited the owner Dave who’s voice is unbearable did not stop taking/shouting for one min. He went on an on story after story. Its a tiny place, My head was pounding by the time I left. Not my cup of tea.

I love me some Little Venice. It doesn’t hurt that I live right there, but they’re my favorite pizza shop in the city. They are made up of a bunch of really great guys who are a lot of fun and the service is fast. And who doesn’t love free delivery? There is lots of seating inside and cute little tables outside as well. The pizza is great, but a little bit expensive for the smaller sizes. I love their white pizza and it’s even better the next day. I would love to see them get a gluten free pizza on the menu, but for now, it’s a great solution for quick meals, parties, and random pizza cravings.

I’d had some good experience with slices here while working up the street, so we decided to order at home one night. Pizza was fine, maybe a little bit greasy, but what do you expect with pizza, right? Pros: convenient, relatively inexepensive, good tasting pizza, nice employees and I think their crust is thinner and crispier than most other places in the area(and as a lover of true NY thin crust pizza, this is my #1 priority) Cons: skimpy with their toppings, cheese was greasy, don’t deliver to me(not your problem, though!)

Great place to grab a slice or a whole pie. Crust is fairly thin, crisp on the bottom, and chewy. Sauce is light and tasty. Cheese is just fine, a little on the greasy side. Friendly crew of guys and they deliver to my doorstep(I live in the South Wedge) very quickly. I wouldn’t choose to eat inside, since it’s usually empty and the workers can be loud.
