Horrible experience over the weekend. Had booked a room for the night and planned to celebrate my daughters birthday with some of her friends. Had been told the room comes with 6 bands for our family and additional bands for her friends were $ 10. We have been there for birthdays before on the weekends and when we were charged that was accurate. But this weekend the manager informed us, as the friends of my daughter are arriving for the party, that they will not sell any additional wrist bands. Even for the 3 hours of pool use. We had to send all of my daughters friends home. We were so completely disgusted by the manager and his complete lack of customer service. I ended up cancelling my room for the night and we went to Bounce World to spend a few hours. My family will never return here and the manager who so rudely made all our guests turn around and leave should be ashamed of himself. Unless he get enjoyment out of making an 8 year old girl cry.

What this place has going for it is the indoor water park. It’s the largest in Rochester. Big water slide, Hot tub and good separate kiddie wading pool with climbing objects. We stayed here just for the pool. The free breakfast is ok, they put out a lot of items to make for yourself, cereal, bagels, Waffles, etc.

Look elsewhere. For starters the room was not as we booked it. The desk staff was rude and could care less. There is only one elevator for over 200 rooms and sounds like it could break down any day. A sign in the room said you could save $ 5 /​day by not having maid service change towels, etc. When we checked out they would not honor that because we booked thru Expedia. We were also not given a receipt because we booked thru Expedia. The ice machine was out of order the whole of our 4 nite stay. The pool was also under construction as well. The king bed had fitted sheets that didn’t fit and just rolled up. The mattress was 8 years old but comfortable. This was a Ramada. Kahler bought this run down hotel 4 years ago and is working on fixing it up. They still have a lot to do. WiFi was OK, nice fridge but no freezer. We will never stay here again nor recommend to anyone.

I have certain expectations when arriving at a hotel. A room where I reserved it, continental breakfast that changes options daily, working ac for summer months, cleanliness, friendly staff and a welcomed feeling. At this hotel, I GOT NONE OF THE ABOVE!
The rooms were reserved as 2 double queen pool rooms. Our rooms were as far away from the pool as humanly possible. The hallways were blistering hot and humid. I was dripping sweat just searching the maze for our room. The desk clerk was rude and not apologetic. And the rooms were not good. The ac didn’t work past low fan. If you turned it up, it blew humid air. There was mold on the curtains. Our stay was 4 days. In those 4 days, the breakfast never changed. The only fun we had was when we weren’t in the hotel. And the «water park». Yeah, that was a joke. There was a pool, a slide that was open from 4 until whenever the person felt like closing it which was usually 8. There was a nice sized baby pool however and the locks were on at 10 every night for safety. But it still shouldn’t be called a water park.
I highly recommend staying somewhere else.
