History

Established in 1948.

Huffman Heating & Cooling Inc. has been a family owned and operated business since 1948. Company founder Fred Huffman came to Rochester after his service in the Marines in WWII and established the company shortly thereafter. He built a loyal customer base, some of whom are still with us today. In the early days the majority of our service was on oil heating equipment. As oil burners became nearly obsolete in most areas, our focus shifted to gas heating and central air conditioning. Fred’s home served as the office and the shop until 1986 when we moved the shop to it’s current location at 63 Henrietta St.
