Grubb – A Local Eatery

One of my favorite places to eat. Great food at a great price. The staff is very friendly too.

Small town atmosphere but food goes beyond small town menu. New owners are creative and have expanded the specials. Try the cheesy grits, you’ll like them even if you’re not a fan of grits. Friday nights are busy, go early! Food has always been good, friendly staff, friendly locals. Worth getting off the highway. Remodeling done in winter has improved the restaurant. Come on in to get the feel of a small, rural community. You won’t be sorry.

Not what you’re expecting to find in Fulton, Indiana. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The food was very good as well. Loved their coconut pie, and loaded baked potato. I’ve seen this building go through different owners, and restaurants so I hope this place stays. Only complaint was for our table of four we only had one menu. Will recommend this place to people I know!

Drove through town on the way to South Bend at dinner time on Friday night and turned around to go back to this place — so glad I did! The Friday nigh specials all looked great and we had a hard time choosing. I had the pulled pork sandwich that was one of the best I’ve ever had — incredibly moist! BBQ sauce came on the side and wasn’t my favorite — a little more sweet than I like, but had a nice kick at the end. The pork didn’t need sauce, though, because the rub they used had great flavor by itself. Handmade onion rings were delicious.
We also had braised beef short ribs that came with mashed potatoes, asparagus and carrots, and ribeye steak with baked potato and green beans. Meats were all cooked perfectly, moist and had great flavor. Vegetables all tasted like that had just been picked from the garden and were wonderful! Dessert menu looked amazing!
I don’t go this way often, but the next time I do, I will seriously consider going a few miles off 31 to visit this place again — well worth it!
