Several months ago, my 86 year old mother, received a promotion from the D&C offering her a $ 10 gift card if she subscribed to the newspaper. She decided to subscribe and has never received her gift card. She has contacted customer service multiple times and each time she is promised the gift card or a credit to her account. She received her billing info today, and once again, the promised $ 10 credit was not applied to her account. What’s the deal? You entice an elderly person on a fixed income to subscribe to your newspaper with a $ 10 gift card and then once she subscribes and you have her money, you blow her off and not fulfill your part of the deal. You should be ashamed of yourselves. This is a ripoff.
