Cocoa Blue Chocolates

Absolutely worth a drive to Rochester, the real deal for chocolate lovers.

Super cute place. Soothing décor, nice choices of chocolates. Feels like a small town gem! Right down the street from an awesome quilt store.

After watching the owners YouTube video about how he began his chocolate business, I was certainly influenced to visit his store. The first thing I did after entering the store was indulge myself in an advertised chocolate sundae. When that was inhaled, I finally succeeded in purchasing several boxes of assorted chocolates.
The quality of Coco Blue’s ice cream and candy was excellent. Each piece of chocolate cost $ 2.15 minus a 7% discount or $ 2.00 per chocolate item.

After seeing that holiest of holy words…“chocolate”…(cue drool), we actually made a complicated turn around, and headed right to the door of the old Town Hall. Don’t worry, there are like four traffic lights in Rochester now, so we were totally safe.
Because I am a coffee-​holic, I ordered a hazelnut iced coffee, which was a delicious treat on a Summer day. The kid ordered a perfect chocolate shake. The chocolate we got for the fam, included truffles for the kid and me. I held out as long as I could, but I soon devoured my coconut and dark chocolate mouthgasm, followed shortly by the lavender truffle… de-​to-​the-​lish! Way to go, Cocoa Blue! The candy I did actually share with the fam is long gone, and was met with much rejoicing. Rave reviews for the peanut butter bark, turtles and dark chocolate bars.
Head out to Rochester and support this local business, even if it’s not all that local to you. Did I mention the FOUR traffic lights?!

A charming shop with GREAT chocolate! An owner and staff that really enjoy what they do and it shows. If you’re looking for desserts or a way to bribe your kids, don’t pass by this shop!
Oh and the hot chocolate is phenomenal!!!
