Established in 2011.

CMIT Solutions was started in 1996 by a woman in Texas who wanted to help other women business owners with their technology. It quickly grew and she started to franchise the business.

We now have over 125 locations across the country and support small to mid size businesses. Our national infrastructure enables us to bring enterprise-​level support to local companies. Our local ownership enables us to build relationships and provide unsurpassed customer service.

Cheryl Nelan opened the Rochester NY location in early 2011. She’s enjoying meeting local business owners and helping them gain efficiencies and success through better use and maintenance of their technology.

Cheryl Nelan has spent over 20 years driving growth in highly competitive markets for large, global corporations in the Rochester area. Her background is in business to business marketing and business leadership. She holds a M.B.A. from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.S. Degree in Marketing Management from the State University of New York at Geneseo.

Nelan’s most gratifying days as a corporate executive were working with small business owners and helping them build their business strategies and uncover solutions to their problems. Becoming an entrepreneur herself has been the most rewarding phase of her career. As President and Owner of CMIT Solutions of Monroe she decided to take her passion local and work with Rochester area businesses to help them grow and find success.
