Blue Ridge Grill

My husband, daughter and I stopped by on Friday ³⁄₁₁ around 7 pm. It was busy, but we were seated very quickly. Our waitress was great and the food came very quickly! My daughter and I got salads that were very fresh and delicious! My husband got the burger with the egg on it, he orders these every time they are offered at restaurants and is a bit of an expert in them… he loved it! My only suggestion, would be to dim the lights a bit at night for atmosphere. Other than that, it was awesome!

Went to this place for breakfast becuase my boyfriend adores the skillets they have (which are just basically breakfast garbage plates).
I got two eggs over easy, home fries, white toast, and well done bacon. Eggs were small. Not enough yolk for two slices of bread. My bread was burnt. Like black burnt. Bacon was for the most part well done but some was undercooked and wobbly. Not a fan of the seasoning they put on the home fries.
Boyfriend got the ROC skillet and enjoyed it. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the meat sauce.
Overall, I wasn’t too impressed by this diner. It’s much more expensive, to the point of silliness, than other diners and the food isn’t nearly as good. Service was good. Waitress was very friendly.
I probably wouldn’t return out of my own will but I’ll probably be back when boyfriend wants a breakfast garbage plate again.

I’ve been to this place 5 times so far and every time I leave completely satisfied. The service is great, the food awesome and the prices are very fair. I take my family here every time I get the chance

I didn’t know the place existed until this morning and went there for breakfast. Had the crab cake omelet which I enjoyed. The restaurant is also clean with a nice ambiance. I will be making a return trip in the future.

I have been here 4 times since they opened and it is GREAT every time. The waitresses are nice and friendly, and I did see a cook come out near the dining area wearing an impeccably clean and appropriate chef coat, scanning the dining room full of people who all seemed to be enjoying their meals. Definitely someone you would trust to make food you are about to consume. Today I had the Crab cake omelette that I had been eyeballing on the menu for my last few visits. It was delicious! It comes with tomato, spinach, crabcake, hollandaise sauce and a sprinkle of dill (see photos). I’m definitely getting it again on my next visit. Also note that all omelettes come with your choice of homefries, hashbrowns, or fruit and your choice of toast, pancakes or French toast with no upcharge for the latter two options. This is my favorite new breakfast spot. I have yet to try lunch or dinner but judging by their breakfast, I’m sure it’s great as well. Altogether, we ordered the crabcake omelette with homefries and wheat toast, the Greek Omelette with homefries and banana walnut pancakes. The total was $ 21. A great deal considering I have yet to finish a whole omelette meal there. Give this place a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

8 of us went yesterday and had a great experience. The place looked great and everyone loved their food. I got turkey club with waffle fries and they were crispy and fresh. Server was very nice and attentive. Great Experience will definitely recommend people to go and will be back.

Went to Blue Ridge Grill for breakfast on May/​17/​2015. I ordered the Country Benny.
After a few bites I bit into egg shells. After looking further I found an egg shell the size of a silver dollar between the egg and the sausage. I notified the server, she apologized and said she would show the chef. She came back with the bill and said she took 10% off the total. Really 10% off? Also the home fried potatoes had a funny taste. I can explain what it was but it was not pleasant. I will not return.

My husband and I stopped in here one night because I was starving and on the verge of being angry hungry. (C’mon people… you know exactly what I mean!)
We were driving by, saw it and pulled in quickly before I turned into the Incredible Hulk.
We were pretty surprised by how nice it looked inside and by the bar that was there, serving beer and wine.
The servers were very friendly and the service was quick. My husband ordered some fish thing (sorry for the lack of description there!) with waffle fries and I ordered a turkey club sandwich.
The food was great, but I definitely found a teeny bug crawling out of my fries at the end of my meal. My husband said it was a fruit fly, but it was still pretty gross. What put me off the most was the price– holy hell. We each had a meal and a pop– the bill came to $ 37!!! Just my added on French fries alone was $ 3.50. After tip we spent about $ 45, which is what we could’ve spent at a decent Italian restaurant.
We definitely would’ve gone back, despite the bug, but I don’t know that the price was worth it.

3.5÷5 First visit here, I am told by my spouse (a native) that the space seems pretty much similar to the restaurant that formerly occupied this space. It’s pretty casual, a family style restaurant. An option when you don’t want to hit one of the chains. We came in on a Monday to get a fish fry which is on the menu. Our waitress said it was only available on Friday even though it is not specified as such on the menu. So we were ok with that and started to look through the menu which is largely American/​Italian/​Greek items. Sandwiches, burgers, pastas etc… It is a fairly extensive but standard menu. Our waitress came back after a couple of minutes, and said that the chef said it would be no problem to do the fish fry. I thought that was nice! I was already to go with something else but went with the fish. It was pretty decent with a nice crisp beer batter. Our server was very pleasant and the manager was there asking the diners how everything was to their liking. Only beer and wine, I believe — no liquor :(
