It’s been over a year since my last review. It just keeps getting better. We had Prime Rib on Saturday and it was great. The service was prompt and friendly. The portions were just right. It looks like they did some more remodeling. New TVs and I saw posters for the bands that are playing. We are going back again! I am happy to see a local place doing so well…

The drinks were okay, they have good deals on drink specials. All we got was the buffalo chicken dip and it was honestly disgusting. I am not sure how you screw up a dish that people make for parties all the time, but it was bad. It pretty much tasted like burnt old cheese. That was disappointing. Also the bartender was too busy with his regulars to pay attention to anyone else at all.

Well I must say! Today I had the black n blue burger and wow! If you were here years ago and had a bad experience! You need to get back in there. I was also here on Sunday night, we grabbed some wings and a football game! Everything I have ate there was just amazing! The burger was juicy, had great taste, seasoned perfectly. The wings were also great, nice n spicy. Buffalo sauce was right on. The wattress was very friendly, carried a conversation. The TV’s they have in that place is in the WoW factor! You’ll never miss a game in that place. There’s even TV’s at each booth. I mean, I rate the place a full 10! I know it’s under a new owner and he went all out! He absolutely cut no corners. Get in there! Check it out. I think you’ll be as amazed as I was.

Had never been here before, but with a $ 13 Groupon for $ 30 worth of grub, why not? Not sure what all the bad reviews are all about. Maybe people around here just love to complain too much? Both male bartenders and the waitress were quick, attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Place was very clean. Food came out about 15 minutes after ordering. I had the steak bomber — was expecting shaved steak like most places, but they used actual pieces of steak, and it was LOADED with crumbed blue cheese. My fiancée had the french onion soup, and would not stop raving about it. She also had a side salad, which was a steal for $ 5 — they used actual greens(no iceberg). It was fairly large, and had carrots, cukes, grape tomatoes, croutons, etc We split an order of Lobster Mac & Cheese — great portion, and tasted phenomenal! Our entire meal was a steal for $ 13. Nothing was microwaved like other reviews said, floors were not dirty and sticky like other reviews said, service was not terrible like others said. Will definitely be back to try the wings — saw many others eating them — they looked and smelled great.

Nothing special folks. Not in my opinion. You can tell this place has been around for some time now. I’m sure locals might like it if they’ve been coming here for years but certainly doesn’t draw anyone in from the outside. It’s definitely a big place. Large bar with seating on the other side and a pool table with some tvs. Definitely an older crowd gathers here hence the comment I made earlier. Staff wasn’t anything to brag about, our waitress was quite terrible. Maybe she just had a bad night and was very tired? I hope so Atleast… She was very forgetful. She told us it was $ 5 burgers and only have half the table the discount, others were given full priced burgers on their receipts… She didn’t seem very concerned that she overpriced The food was okay. I got the Cajun blackened chicken salad. It came in a deep fried tortilla shell. I didn’t realize until it was served. Looks cool but kinda defeats the purpose of ordering a salad.

When I was young I lived in Greece and my father would take me to Bathtub Billy’s every weekend. This place had the best chicken wings in Rochester and an amazing atmosphere! But sadly not anymore, this restaurant has went so far downhill it’s depressing. The last time I went here was the last time I will ever go. The food that used to be so amazing was awful, it tasted like it went straight from the freezer to the microwave. I ordered a beer as well and it was no good, it had definitely passed its expiration date by at least months. The waitress tried to tell me it was a new keg and that the bartender said it was fresh beer but I know beer very well and that was a flat out lie. Thankfully they did take it off my bill without any issues. The décor inside has not changed much which is a good and bad thing. It’s good in the sense that it reminds me of my childhood but bad because the bathrooms are still disgusting as always. If the bathrooms in a restaurant are dirty, what does the kitchen look like? Honestly, I don’t think i really want to know. Now I remember this place having tons of huge televisions throughout, but when I went there most of those huge televisions were gone. There is so much more I can say about this place, it’s really sad to me how bad Bathtub Billy’s has gotten.

This place needs some help… Our waitress was nice enough, but she was spread way to thin to be of any real effectiveness. When we ordered food it took over 20 mins and when arrived all the dishes were like warm or cold. My fries were ½ cooked. The wings which on the menu are labeled as «famous roaster-sized» were tiny little things. Although they too were like warm, they had the best taste and were decent. We did not say anything to our server because I’m not sure she would have cared. Probably will never go back so why say anything.

While our server was very pleasant, she committed a major fail…brought the appetizer out at the same time as the entrée. I had the fish fry; it was deplorable.. .the fish was undercooked. The breading was a bit too crunchy and had no seasoning to it. The french fries were a soggy mess.

4pm on a busy college football Saturday and the bartender is the only one staffed to serve the entire place. Food was below average for a sports bar. Cheese on loaded notches was all stuck together so you couldn’t get a good scoop.

First time here in many years. The place is under new ownersip so i thought me and a friend would check it out. As soon as we walked in it was very loud with the music it was almost defining. Went up to the bar and ordered a few drinks from the bartender that I’m pretty sure was half in the bag. Took her a bit to return with drinks and she wasn’t very social to us and immediately thought i wouldnt like her because they didnt have any of the drinks i liked. Guess when your drunk behind the bar you tend to jump to conclusions. Anyway it was a Friday night which I guess is karaōke night by the sound of what I thought was someone in pain screaming but it was someone on the microphone. Not what I expected for this place. Majority of people were over the age of 50 and the feeling of comfort was just not there in this place. Maybe we just came on the wrong night. We decided to leave and try it another time here. I feel when you go out to a bar there should be a level of comfort or feeling of safety. Didn’t get that at all here and I have gone to my fare share of places in this city. I feel we will come back on another night to try it again and hopefully have a better experience. Try it out for yourself. Everyones opinion varys depending on what they expect from a place. Good luck.

Dump. Really big dump. As soon as you walk in you can smell the mildew. Unfortunately I am a Browns fan, and this is the closest bar that the backers gather at for games. Every time I go I try the draft beer, and every time I go it has crap floating in it. Most bars clean their tap lines once a week, I don’t think these ones have EVER been cleaned. The bathroom always seems to be wet and stinky. There is no way I would ever think about eating here. There is an Arby’s right around the corner, much safer to eat there.

I’ve been going to The Tub since I was a baby. The wings are good, the food is good, but for the food you’re getting, the pricing is absolutely outrageous. The burgers, mac and cheese, and wings are the staple of this restaurant. That, and the bartenders. The sweet and tangy sauce is delicious. I’d give 5 stars if it wasn’t so expensive and the wings were bigger. Say hi to Deb at the bar. She’s a sweetheart.

I had baked mac n cheese ass house salad. They were both very good. It was strange that the bar tender sent me a waitress(I sat at the bar). But it was so good I may go back tonight…

When I moved to Chicago I found there were 3 things that I miss about Rochester. One of them was the chicken wings. More specifically, wings from Bathtub Billy’s. For as long as I can remember my dad used to get wings from this place. It did not take long for me to realize these were an awesome food. Sure they’re really bad for you, but they taste oh so good. The wings were are big and crispy. Obviously deep fried like they should be. The sauce is great too, very authentic. I’ve had other food here but the wings are why I love it. It’s actually my favorite place for wings, anywhere.
