Specialties

Alpine Academy is a nationally-​accredited early childhood center for children ages one through six years. We offer Tiny Tots, Preschool, and Young-Five’s classes, and offer full and part-​time schedules. We believe each child is unique and our highly-​qualified and experienced teachers work to spark the love of learning in each child.

History

Established in 1995.

Founded as Cathy’s Corner in 1995, moved to Oakland Township in 2003 and renamed Alpine Academy.

Meet the Manager

Charlotte T.

Manager

My experience working with children of all ages began when I

became a toddler teacher in Lake Orion nearly ten years ago.

While earning my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from

Baker College, I was the nanny for two families (6 children!) for

several years. In 2012, I began my role as Lead Infant Teacher at

a large early childhood center, and I taught in the Preschool

classroom as well. As the Team Lead at this center, I also helped

the Director in a management role and as the teacher liaison. I

am currently finishing up my Master’s Degree in Educational

Psychology from EMU. During several internships, I have taken

on teaching and administrative roles in early childhood centers of

varying sizes. I enjoy collaborating with the amazing teachers

here at Alpine and getting to know all of the children and families!
