Meet the Business Owner
Douglas S.
Business Owner
After my first skydive at Paradise Skydives back in 1994 in Vinton, IA while attending the University of Iowa in Iowa City, I was hooked! I spent several seasons jumping in Vinton before calling SkyKnights Sport Parachute Club (now known as Skydive Milwaukee) in East Troy, WI home for several seasons. After finding a job and a soon-to-be wife in the Chicago area, I migrated down to the cornfields of Hinckley, Illinois. The decision to call a little dropzone in Hinckley «home» changed the course of my life. With my life-long best friend, we took over the small dropzone. After 10 years, I moved the operation to Rochelle, Illinois where we’ve built one of the nicest skydiving centers in the world. We own and operate a PAC 750XL and a DHC-6 Twin Otter. I am married to Carolyn and we have two great children.
