History

Established in 1972.

After practicing for and with other law firms, senior partner Barry D. Epstein began his own firm in the early 1970s with a parnter. A few years later, Barry D. Epstein created his own firm with his own vision on how to assist people and businesses with their legal problems. Nearly forty years later, the firm has grown to five lawyers.

Michael J. Epstein received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Hamilton College in 1993, Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard University in 1996. After graduating from law school, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable Marie L. Garibaldi, New Jersey Supreme Court, and to The Honorable Alfred M. Wolin, U.S. District Court of New Jersey.

Mr. Epstein is Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Mr. Epstein is a member of the following organizations: Bergen County Bar Association (Secretary 2011-​12, Treasuer 2012-​, Co-​Chair of Civil Practice Committee, 2003 -), New Jersey Association for Justice (Board of Governors 2012-​, Civil Practice Comm., 2011-​), and The American Association of Justice. He is also the author of the monthly Civil Practice Update for the Bergen County Bar Association.

Mr. Epstein was named a Rising Star for the 2006-​08 and a Super Lawyer every year since 2009.
