Bucco’s Ristorante

After working very long shifts at the nearby medical center, Bucco’s is my favorite way to end my day. When I stop in for the best food in town, I’m always greeted by the owner and his wonderful staff! The restaurant is clean, the food is always prepared fresh and I get to relax in the beautiful dining room. This RN wouldn’t go anywhere else for a delicious dinner after a 12-​hour shift!

Hands down worst take out ever! First they took almost an hour to make take out… Then they forgot items and sent a fried calzone that was a greasy pale white soggy mess? I even asked for extra crispy? Then they were confrontational on phone telling me i don’t know what fried food is! And worse the remaining food was so bad the whole meal went in the trash! Avoid these people

Ordered a sub and it literally had 1 piece of salami, 1 piece of ham, all lettuce and bread. Extremely disappointed. I could have gotten a better sandwich anywhere else. Over priced and not worth it.

Came here for lunch, order two slices of pizza, and the bread was stale, didnt taste fresh at all… Seems like the pizza had been sitting there for days.

Tasted good, but sooo thin. The sandwiches were so thin. For that amount, they should have been half the price.

We get the buffalo chicken pizza for our office all the time, love it!

Disgusting! I got delivery from this place, salad was bagged and wilted, dressing was bottled not homemade. I ordered the mozzarella sticks as well they are a decent size but the breading is not the nest tasting, I do not recommend this place at all.

I’ve been ordering from here since it was Ray’s and since the first day they opened. First off UnilocalERS DO NOT USE THE ONLINE ORDERING FEATURE. 2 hours later I learned it takes 30 min for them to get the order. 45 min to make. Then another 30 min to deliver. My kids learned that the hard HUNGRY way. The customer service is so disgusting (consistently poor). I hate giving them my money! But the truth is its the only pizza in the area I can stomach. Rays, what happened. You left your loyal customers stranded!!! This place is now run by a family who just want to take your money and throw your food at you. They can careless about much else. In the mean time I’ll keep searching for another pizza place.

I can’t imagine the negative reviews below being about Bucco’s. Every time my family and I have ordered from here it has been nothing but delicious! The pizza is phenomenal, the sandwiches are the farthest from skimpy, and the delivery service is always fast and on point (and friendly!!). This is by far our family favorite. Before reading the negative reviews I encourage you to try this place out — you won’t be disappointed… Also, if dining out is your thing you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that the actual restaurant is gorgeous! 5 stars all the way!

Outback Steakhouse orders delivery here almost every week. The pizza is delicious and the service is always friendly and fast.

Contrary to all the negative reviews I dig this place. I live down the block, and if it was that bad we wouldn’t bother coming back. I can see how some folks might miss Ray’s, cause we do as well, but they are 2 completely different places with different styles. The pizza is great thin crust.

This place used to be Ray’s. We would order pizza and other stuff
Every Friday for 3 years. That stopped after they changed the name.
We ordered from there twice and it was obvious the pizza was different. No good.
They told us same everything, just new name.
Clearly not true. The pizza was the only good pizza around this area, not anymore.
We have moved onto rotating other pizzerias around here, a pizza carousel you might say to find some place we like again.

I just threw out $ 30 worth of food from this place. Their rice ball was hard as a rock.
Their shrimp with wine sauce tastes like nothing no flavors at all. It tasted like water and butter and and there was 5 pieces of
Shrimp. I ordered a arugula salad and I got a spring mix. This place sucks I honestly think they don’t even deserve a star.

Rays was so much better! Buccos is so inconsistent with their food, I always order the same thing and each time it looked and tasted different. One time the broccoli roll had sauce in it when they told me it didnt. The next time i got it again and it had no sauce in it and it was gross frozen hard broccoli I threw it away! Also the last time they gave me the wrong panini, 2 times i had to send it back. I ordered the chicken pesto panini with roasted peppers & mozz on regular bread. The first time they gave me a grilled chicken wrap with lettuce and tomato so I sent it back. Second time I got chicken and mozzarella on stale multigrain bread not even melted and pressed-​no pesto, no peppers… It was supposed to be a pesto panini and it didnt have pesto! I gave up and just asked for my money back. The girls at the counter were so embarrassed because they showed me that it was rung in correctly, they told me the owner was hiding because he didn’t care and the cooks just grabbed whatever bread and old chicken was laying around because they were closing soon and wanted to go home. Terrible customer service on the kitchen and owners part. I’ll never eat here again.

Ordered from there 7 times in total. The pizza is amazing great food, they always gave us what we wanted exactly. The reason why I wouldn’t order there any more, is because last Saturday my Brother ordered from grub hub, a gluten free pizza and a broccoli calzone. The pizza came and was terribly small and they didnt even give us the correct calzone! So my brother called them. They explained that the gluten free pizza was supposed to look like that and it was grub hub’s fault. They also said they will make a new calzone and deliver to us. This was at 945, then time passes its 12 o’clock and still no calzone. horrible customer service, thats the reason why i gave 3 stars. They need to get it together fast before they go out of business.

This place is just plain terrible all around. The pizza is gross. Soggy and thin to the point that you can’t pick it up. The variety of slices looked and were old and dried out. The kitchen is slow, not only in service but in intelligence as well. We were there over an hour sitting and waiting. It’s run terribly with four guys and three girls behind the counter tripping over each other doing absolutely nothing, while one waitress is handling the whole dining room by herself while the others watch. It wasn’t even busy!
The place looks nice, but I can guarantee it is horrible.
What a waste of time…

Can’t honestly review the food because when I went to pick up my pizza it wasn’t even put in the oven yet. Total fail! Won’t be back… If I call ahead for a pizza why would I come to pick up and wait for it to be prepared. By the looks of the place and w no customers doesn’t look like it’s any good anyway. Took the extra few minute and went to Brooklyn Pizza in Hackensack didn’t disappoint

Went there for lunch yesterday. Actually tried going to Saddle Brook Diner but they were closed for renovations. Not sure if they had a bad day but it was a mess. Took 45 minutes to get food (1 slice of pizza, 1 eggplant parm sandwich and 1 grilled chicken sandwich). Waitress seemed overwhelmed even though it was not busy. Can only imagine what it would be like if it was busy. Also screwed up one order and served fried chicken vs grilled. The food was ok. Have had better. Not planning on returning.

Oh how I miss Rays! I have no clue what happened to force the sale because Rays was the go to spot for pizza our family. We tried the food here 2 times since the name and ownership change and it comes no where close to the predecessor. The pizza is just not good, I believe it’s the combination of the change of pizza chef and what tastes like cheaper cheese and poorly made dough, where did you go Rays…
