NTB – National Tire & Battery

Horrible experience, don’t waste your time. Waited an hour past an appt to be told they would not change the oil because the level was too low on the dipstick. If I could give a negative «star» I would.

Edit: after a few days when I had some daylight to look at the job that they did, I found out that they actually hadn’t done the tire rotation. Instead the new tire was put on where the customer service person had said would be a bad place to put it.
This place definitely did not live up to what I thought NTB usually is. The only good part was they had my tire at a moments notice and did an emergency replacement.

It’s been almost 2 years since I have been here, but I’ll never forget how fantastic they were. The absolute BEST service I have ever received!
I had a car emergency one Saturday evening when I was in the area and my friend and I had to get home the next day. It was 5:45 pm and most places were about to close and wouldn’t help me. No one would be open again until Monday-​no good! I called this place, which was 15 minutes away, they also closed at 6pm, but they told me they’d wait for me to get there to see how bad my car was.
They took a look at my car and told me they didn’t have the parts they needed in stock, but called all over town to find them. Some poor kid drove nearly 30 minutes each way to pick up the parts and had to go back a second time to get more. By the end of it all, 4 guys had stayed late (3 hours late) to make sure that my car was safe to drive back home to New York the next day. I thought the bill would be steep, but they hardly charged me anything at all.
I was helping a good friend move down there and told her that this would be the place I’d take my car! I want to spread the word, so if you live in the area… check ‘em out!
