Locally owned and operated, Imagination Station is the place to come to for individualized attention and advice when it comes to finding toys that will suit every child’s needs and interests. Have a birthday party you need a last minute gift for? Come on in or call — we’ll help you find the right gift and we’ll even wrap it for you for free!

We are also the local dealer for Maxtrix Kids, maker of the largest kid’s furniture system. Our upstairs features two rooms that showcase this wonderfully flexible, eco-​conscious, durable, and safe line of furniture that grows and changes with your child.

History

Established in 2015.

Imagination Station has returned to where it was born many years ago, to Grandin Road in Roanoke. After being exclusively in Blacksburg, VA the owners have decided to open up in Roanoke again. We are thrilled to be in such a family friendly neighborhood and to be in the Star City again.

Meet the Manager

Erica S.

Manager

Erica Sipes is a toy lover in addition to being a professionally trained pianist. After years of pursuing music she decided to take a break and try something completely different. She worked in Paula and Keith Bolte’s Imaginations Toy & Furniture Company in Blacksburg for a year. After deciding with her family to move to Roanoke the Boltes decided that perhaps it was time to open another toy store in the Star City again. Erica, Keith, and Paula have a passion for community and bringing joy, creativity, and fun to kids of all ages.
