Discount Tire Store – Roanoke, TX

Had a appointment time for 11:30am and my son’s baseball schedule changed. I explained my situation and they got me in at 9:30. They have always been professionals and helpful. Brian there is the best. As long as I live close I will always us them.

These guys are wonderful. I had gotten some bad personal news before I went in to fix my tire. I probably came off a little brash because I was very anxious. This was my 4^th return in a year to fix a slow leak and I requested for them to replace the tire, they did it even though they could never find a hole to patch. I’m thankful for the tire insurance and a happy customer who will be returning. The young man was a good sport and I was grouchy and not having a good day.

Be careful with these guys they’re trained professional sellers so if you don’t have warranty on your tire and you have a blowout they’ll tell you it’s unrepairable and even if you ask to see the tire they won’t even let you see it. They will make you buy new tire. Just like my grandpappy used to say when in doubt get a second opinion.

If this place had a spot for no stars that’s what I would give. I had a appointment at 2 it is 3:20 and they are just now pulling my car in. I spoke with them yesterday and today letting them know that I had to be at work so they made the appointment for the time that worked with me. I was told I needed more tires than I thought so spent almost $ 400 then sat until now when over 8 walk-​ins went in front of me and left before my car got in the shop. I had to ask 4 different people before finally Nathan helped me get my car in.
Now I will be late for work and the senior supervisor is the one that initially helped me when I walked through the door. Very upsetting that I had to wait after walk-​ins when my appointment was set. Will not be coming back to this discount tire.

This location is very customer service based! They were extremely busy (which surely has to do with their customer service) but I was still followed up with by an employee about every 5 – 10 minutes. Kendall was absolutely amazing and very helpful! I will definitely be going back due to his kindness and helpfulness! When I first walked in I noticed that they were playing Air1 on the radio but even more, it was Good Friday and they were closed only from 12 — 3; Jesus’ final three hours on the cross. My experience was absolutely amazing from the Christian values to the stellar employees!

I’ve brought in my vehicles here for tire repairs (flats/​nails) and they’ve always repair them for free. Great service; always friendly and courteous. This explains why they are so busy. It’s for reasons like this that I bring my cars back for when I need to buy new tires. Their prices were very competitive! Only downside is they don’t do alignments… but that’s ok! 5 stars for their great customer focused service.

I have used discount tire for several years and this by far is the worst discount tire I have used. Surprisingly I have only used them twice, but both time they seem to screw up something.
First time I wanted to purchase new tires for my wife’s car. They didn’t have the tires in I wanted and said they will get them in 2 – 3 days usually and they will call me when they get in. Over 5 days later I get a phone call at 8:30am asking me if «I am going to come and get these tires, they have a man here wanting them now». So I cancelled my plans for the day and went and got the tires. Once the tires are put on they then up charge me for the warranty. They didn’t even ask. The guy behind the counter didn’t go over the price or anything with me. Once I looked at my receipt and found out that they charged another 70 $-80 $, I had them refund me that back.
Second time, I went to get my tires rotated on my truck. They were busy on a Saturday so I left it with them. The man told me «I’ll call you when it’s done, should be around an hour or so». Well I had to call them over 8 hours later and ask if my truck was done yet. The man that answered the phone said «oh yeah that’s (insert name I forgot it)‘s fault he didn’t write down to call you». So now I have waisted time that I actually needed to be working on my truck while it just sat in their parking lot for who knows how long. When I got the truck one of the tires was flat! So I took it back up there on Monday and told the asst. manager Nick my problem. When I told him that it happened when they had it. Nick looks at me and says «did you see it happen, you were here when it happened, and you took a picture of it so show me that it happened here». He was the biggest prick I know at a discount tire. Now I am not sure how he thinks treating a paying customer like that will ever get repeat business. Fortunately Bryan (I believe that’s his name), the real manager of the store, was able to help me out and get me back on the road.
I will not go back to this discount tire because if they feel Nick is good enough to be an asst. manager, and he talks to customer like that, then who knows what type of business they are running. They prolly put the hole in my tire on purpose to begin with.

Awesome! Got a special wheel ordered and done all this week. I had been all over looking for help and finally found it here. Super nice and courteous. Superior pricing and a clean comfy spot to wait. Thank you discount tires Roanoke!

Quick efficient service From a wonderful young man named Koby. Was polite and extremely helpful. I appreciate his help and not being sold things I didn’t need. I’d go out of my way to come back to this location! :) thanks y’all

Anthony was so helpful! He took care of my car needs very quick with a smile on his face. He even saved me some money! The store was clean especially the bathroom, which is a huge deal for me because I have a 4 year old who has to pee every 10 minutes. I will never go to another Discount Tire Co.

Came back on a Monday at 12:30. Pretty busy. Slow going. Waited 45 mins + for balancing tires and checking for a flat.
Their fridge with water bottles seems to be broken and ridiculously small. So the waters inside were pretty warm.
For a chain company, I feel they can afford a new and bigger fridge.
Still waiting…

I went in here to have 4 tires mounted and balances and they were going to charge me $ 150! When he showed me the breakdown of the fees he had mount $ 10 each then he had mount balance listed $ 10 each then they were going to charge me $ 10 each to «rebuild the wheel sensors». Outrageous!

I stopped in yesterday with a slow leak in a tire and was pleasantly surprised. They were pretty busy but I was out the door in a little over an hour with a complimentary repair.
These guys all seem to be well trained, know what they’re doing and appear to work well as a team. They treated me with professionalism and courtesy.
My only real complaint is that they don’t have nitrogen. My 2013 Jeep Wrangler came with nitrogen in all five tires for it’s greater stability but my repaired tire had to be filled with plain old air. Oh well.

Went in to get my valve stems replaced with tire pressure monitors that i had already purchased. I was quoted $ 40, and when I went to pick it up, they said no charge, just come back and buy some tires. When does that happen. I’d definitely recommend giving this place your business.

Great place to get your tires serviced, repaired for free or purchase a new set. Always knowledgable staff, clean and comfortable waiting area. We have purchased 3 sets of tires from here and will buy any additional sets here as well. They know TIRES! They earned a 5 because they fix tires for free. NO CHARGE, who does this?
