David and Frank Radford have been building homes in Roanoke and the New River Valley since 1964. We have achieved a reputation as a home builder who provides great value, excellent personal service, and distinct workmanship to our customers.

Business Owner

David joined his father in the family business in the spring of 1988. After completing a successful career in the textile industry working for Milliken & Company, David helped implement and coordinate the production schedule that was used to produce over 224 condos in Roanoke, Virginia targeted for the empty nester market during the 1990’s. Also, custom and semi-​custom home construction has been the hallmark of David’s style for craftsmanship, value, and attention to detail. While growing up in the family business and experiencing some of his father’s developments, David was exposed to the construction side of the business one summer by building and leasing mini-​warehouse units.



As President/​Project Manager of David Frank Homes, David has worked along with his father in sharing and helping create each new development. As each development moves from the vision stage, to engineering, and finally production, David’s emphasis has been to maintain high standards in all aspects of the
