Established in 1991.

We began as a family law firm, a father and daughter legal team — Altizer & Altizer. We have been practicing law in Southwest Virginia — Roanoke, Salem, Montgomery County, Bedford County, Henry County, Franklin County, Botetourt County, Pulaski County, Covington, Clifton Forge, Galax, Hillsville — all over our Southwest Virginia since 1974. Jack Altizer retired in 2012, and Bettina Altizer carried on the tradition of helping people who have been injured as a result of someone’s wrongful conduct. She started Altizer Law, P.C., and continues on with serving those who need excellent legal representation.

Business Owner

Bettina graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1988. She clerked for the Honorable Samuel Wilson, federal judge, and then returned to her hometown, Roanoke, Virginia, to practice law with her father. She is dedicated to helping her clients in a holistic way — that is to treat them completely and doing her very best to use her skill and resources to get her clients healthy and back on their feet so that they can go back to taking care of their families and doing the things they love. Bettina is also extremely competitive not only being a trial attorney but also as a world champion athlete — she brings that dedication and determined spirit to the negotiation table and to the courtroom to be the true advocate for her clients.
