Gel Nails & Spa

Very unhappy! Had my nails and pedicure done just 5 days ago and shellac on both. Polish peeled off most of thumb so I went in to have fixed. They ask me what the number was for color I stated I don’t know. So guess what he couldn’t find color and stood there saying I don’t know! I told him take color off my thumb I will go without. You would think he would have offered to redo all nails! Very unhappy

1 star for friendly. But overall service by Tang is/​was disgusting. He didn’t wash my feet but put lotion on them rt after removing the dead skin. This experience was so nasty I will be on FB and IG warning people about this nasty soon to give their customers foot/​nail fungus nail spa.

So I went this past Saturday the 12^th. Pedicure– and a polish change and fill for my nails. It’s Monday, they are chipped. I called and they said to come in tomorrow (it was fairly close to closing time) and they would fix it. Hoping they don’t try to charge me, as this is the first time this has ever happened and it seems to only be the red gel polish that is chipping not the silver. Maybe the polish was bad? I’ll post tomorrow with details!

Been coming here since we move to Riverview. They are always nice and very accommodating. Most nail salon really don’t say much to you by here we are always talking. Fan for life.

I’ve been in the area now for about 8 months and had tried several other nail salons. This is the only place I go now!!! Everyone is so friendly, professional and they always do a great job with my Mani/​Pedis!!!

I & my husband have been going to Gel Nails for over a couple of years. The staff is friendly & they do a professional job. Manicures, Pedicures, & waxing services are excellent. The facility is very clean & they have really nice massage chairs for pedicures.

I have been here many times and every time I have been happy. I always feel it is clean and well taken care of. The ladies working there are always nice and professional. It gets busy on the weekends but you can make an appointment. They always accommodate us when we come in as a group of 2 or even 4.

Worst place I’ve ever been!!! I should read the reviews in the future before I go to a new place! A Spa Pedicure should be relaxing and don’t let you leave in pain because the toe nails are cut to short and bleeding :/​I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

The nail technicians are nice; however their cleaning techniques are poor. My husband and I visited this nail salon yesterday for the Ultimate Pedicure and Manicure. The massage chairs are the typical massaging chairs. When the nail technicians started with our feet, the technicians did not bring the individually wrapped (sanitized) tools, they used the ones they had in their possession, squirted them with bottled solution (of whatever), and began to work on our feet. Note we presumed that the pedicure-​bowls were cleaned prior too… Yet given our experience… I seriously doubt it. The kicker here is when they finished with our feet they let the water out… and ran the water, grabbed a sponge, splashed the water around and let the water out. That’s right… they DID NOT use Clorox Bleach Clean-​Up or any type of cleaning solution at all. I told my husband this is the last time we would come to this place for any service and I cannot wait to Unilocal them. My husband opted not to get a manicure; however, I was glutton for punishment I guess… I let the technician perform the manicure. Again I witness her using the same tools again and grabbing a bowl for my fingers. The water was barley lukewarm and she began to work. It was painful as she did not allow my fingers to soak and she clipped clipped away at my cuticles. She rushed me on my way and failed to allow me to wash my hands… she added lotion and painted my nails. Out the door I went. I will NEVER go there again!!!
