Ask for Troy! One if not best guitar teacher I’ve had. He’s so patient and understanding-he has developed his own teaching method that is leagues above the rest it incorporates technique in a fun way and by the 2nd lesson you’re playing along to your favorite songs! Customer service is a ten as well! Highly encourage anyone looking for guitars or/and lessons to come here(I currently take from the guitar shop located on 98th and Bangeter in south jordan but it’s very new so thought I’d leave my review here)

My boys take classes here, one takes drums and the other guitar. They love the classes and have learned so much in such a short amount of time! They provide make up time on Fridays in case they miss their regular class during the week. My son has been out of town a month and they printed off all the practice sheets for him and scheduled him for 45 minutes of one on one time when he gets back. I LOVE that! When signing them up and buying the guitar and drums, the owner was super accommodating and flexible in helping me. They have some of the BEST customer service I’ve ever experienced and their prices for classes and instruments are amazing. I’m SO glad I found this place!

My kids take lessons here, they are really enjoying it. Within a few weeks they were playing popular songs. Their instructor is real good, the classes seem fun. I would recommend these guys to anyone who wants to learn guitar or drums. There was a review saying that these guys don’t have a good selection, I’m confused, because there is at least 200 guitars in this store. In short, my kids love it– I might even start soon.

They have a tiny selection. I get the feeling the owner only carries what he likes, which is fine, but don’t expect everyone to agree. They don’t sell pedals, and when I went in to look at a guitar the volume knob fell off while the salesman was showing it to me. He then said«You’ll have to super glue that back on.» Can you see why I drive past this place and will make an extra 20 minute drive to go to Guitar Center? Nice guys, but they need to get their act together.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called ahead to make sure they had the amp I wanted to purchase(Peavey 6505+ combo) and the dude told me I could bring my own guitars in to make sure I wanted it. When I got there I wandered around the store for 5 – 10 minutes with nobody asking if I needed anything. Finally I approach the girl behind the counter and ask her if I can try out the Peavy 6505 I had called about. She didn’t know what that was. So after explaining that its an amp she goes and gets me a cable to play with and asks me to keep it down a little because of guitar lessons, which is understandable yet a little frustrating. How on earth am I supposed to know if I want to spend $ 600 on an amp if I can’t even hear what it sounds like at practice volume? After playing for 10 mins the guy comes out and asks me to turn down, again its understandable and I was fine with it. At this point I was thinking I should probably come back later. Shortly after, his lesson must of ended because he begins trying to sell a $ 100 Squier Bass to a guy and they are literally standing next to me trying to talk over me playing. Instead of trying to help me purchase a $ 600 amp, he is trying to sell a crappy bass to a kid who wants to do it on layaway. I ended up turning the amp off and walking out with my stuff. I am gonna go to Guitar Center to get this for sure. I’ll even pay their more expensive price just to make sure this shop doesn’t ever touch my money. Not a single word was said to me in terms of asking if I was doing alright or trying to help. I was upset for hours after. That is crappy business if you ask me. Hopefully selling that Bass made them some good money.
