Hi, My name is Dalila Garcia and I am the owner of Studio DG. I have been a «Certified» Hair Stylist for over 3 years now, however I believe I was born a Stylist. Since I can remember I used my family to practice, some were willing, and some were not. I would use a Barbie Head to learn how to braid and style. Learned to mix color using Sallys professional color. I also remember learning how to cut mens hair with my brothers friends, they were more than willing since I didn’t charge I had a line of male «Models». Ahhh good times! I believe Education, Knowledge, and experience are key to provide successful customer service. I LOVE what I do!

Found this place through groupon. Delilah was awesome. I went for the ombré, mask, and haircut. She took her time, explained everything and did an amazing job. Will definitely be coming back.

I got a haircut here. Dalila is the best! She listens to you and she is very good about making sure she is doing what you like throughout the cut. She takes her time and is meticulous about the details. I tend to be very quiet but she is down to earth and very easy to talk to. You can tell she loves what she does.
I wish I had before and after pictures to show her work because other salons I’ve been to just put a razor to my hair for a quick cut, which leaves me with baby hairs sticking out everywhere, and charge much more for doing not even half the effort Dalila puts in. I would definitely give her a try if you’re hesitant about a new cut.

Dalila understands curly hair. I got a beautiful cut on my very long, curly hair. The result was lovely, light, bouncy, well– blended layers of curls that still retained my length.
Now I know I can get a good haircut and also support my local business at the same time! I will go back.

My husband purchased a groupon for DG for my birthday, I love the highlights Dalila gave me. The hair cut I didn’t love so much, but it’s not horrible. The reason I give her 3 stars is that she could have the salon a little cleaner and more organized. There was dust on her nail polishes. Also, lots of hair on the brushes, open boxes just laying on the floor, bags and random things. The experience would’ve been better if it were cleaner in there. I don’t know if I will go back. It’s definitely a good deal if you have the groupon.

I bought a Groupon for DG Studios and used it the same day. Christmas kicked my butt so I needed something inexpensive. I also needed something quick as I’m going out of town for work soon and I was beginning to feel like Cousin It. DG Studios is a great bang for your buck! Especially if you’re in the surrounding area. Dalila was very friendly and her studio was cozy. My haircut turned out great! Thanks Dalila!
Parking would have been a lot easier had it not been a blizzard in Chicago but I still found parking within a block of the Salon.
