This is the first time I’ve actually gone to a Mrs. Field’s in years. The guy behind the counter was very nice and let me taste a sample of the smoothie he made. I bought 12 mini chocolate chip cookies for $ 5.99, and the cookies are crispy on the outside but nice and soft and gooey on the inside. I’ll be back next time I’m at the mall again!

Great service. And the cookies were so delicious and fresh. I had the sugar cookies. Great choice!

I didn’t expect to be writing this review but today I just couldn’t believe the girl behind the counter and feel i need to tell people about my experience. I love cookies, especially Mrs. Fields but wow, how terrible was my visit today. I asked the lady working behind the counter if they have and sugar butter and she tells me well yes but only with cinnamon on them, ok then. I then ask what the deal with there cookies are and she tells me, ok. I then see there brownies and asked if their brownies re good and she says, «well yes but I don’t like brownies, so…» and I just look at her like, really? Now that isn’t so bad except why would you say that when that is what your store sells? But besides that, when I walked up, she turns around and says something to the employee in the back and then comes forward and doesn’t even look t me but does say hello. She doesn’t offer me anything or ask me any questions and her answers to my questions were short and uninviting. After I walked away, all I could think is why does this girl work there? She seems to hate her job. She left a bad taste in my mouth and I hadn’t even eaten anything yet. Cookies, however, were amazing as always except that cinnamon sugar cookie. Bleh.

Staff is slow, but usually friendly and cookies are what you expect. The reason for one star is for a recently inacted ‘$ 5 min purchase when using a debit card’ rule. No posting of this(the owner says she didn’t have to) leaving you with the awkward choice of forgetting the whole thing or adding something you originally didn’t want for more than what you wanted to or could spend. I understand this is to generate more revenue, but the way it is being done in a sneaky way is horrible business and shows the owners really only care about profit and not their loyal customers. I was asked upon whipping out my debit card, «Oh, You don’t have cash?»(No, I don’t) This is how I’m being presented with this ridiculous rule, and what’s more is now I’m being financially punished for NOT carrying cash? This loyal customer is now an ex-loyal customer after years of coming here will no longer and will also tell everyone I know as well about this greedy new practice. To the owner: Shame on you!

You know it’s been a few years since I’ve actually been to a Mrs Fields, but I got gift certificate last Christmas and decided maybe it was time to actually make use of it. I have to say these are a sinful delight. I know having to many of these is not good for me, but damn are they tasty(not to mention soft). I ended up buying 3+1(Harvest, 2 Chocolate Chip, and a pepermint dippied chocolate cookie) for myself and 3+1(2 Harvest, 2 Snickerdoodle) for the wife. We stepped aside and started eating our cookies. I told myself I eat one now and take the rest home. I ended up taking only one home. Addictive, I tell you! As a side note, the service was what you’d find in a usual food venue. Nothing woo-hoo but not bad either. And did I mention the cookies were awesome?

Man, every time I walk by this place I end up buying cookies. Can’t help it. I end up justifying that i’ll get a cookie for my daughter but really they’ll end up in my tummy. Must have one more bite…

Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to rate a place at 0 stars. If you check my other reviews, I rarely rate any place less than 2 stars. I don’t have a particular problem with the cookies that they sell. The food is consistent and pretty good, but the service here is consistently terrible. I work in the mall, and since they are known for having a mall employee special($ 1 for a large soda), I used to frequently visit there. The problem that I finally got fed up with was the horrible service. When they have 4 people working there, 1 will help customers and the other 3 will just stand in the back talking to each other. Their managers(not the owners) are the worst with this. When I arrive there and I have 2 people in front of me, I expect to wait 10+ minutes just to get a soda which is ridiculous. This is not just an isolated incident, it happens all the time. If you are looking for a cheap soda in the Tyler mall, stop by pretzel makers or Cinabon, which both have the same $ 1 for a large deal for mall employees, but without the wait and the shitty attitude.
