More Beer, More Wine

Great company! I’ve been using them for a couple if years now and have never been disappointed! When I was stationed overseas they were helpful with getting me setup with what I needed to do 5 gallon batches of beer. And when I moved back to the California I found it even easier to have them on the same time zone. Very helpful over the phone and quick to give advice if asked.

This place is awesome! They welcome novices and seasoned brewers alike! The brew demos are enlightening and fun! Everyone who works at More Beer is friendly and helpful. I bought my starter brew stuff here and brewed my first batch on Sunday. Can’t wait to try it.

More Beeris always the go-​to when my boyfriend wants to home brew. They have just about everything you’d need for brewing your favorites! There are tons of kits and they have brewing demos every other Saturday.
The best thing about this place are their employees. They are always knowledgeable about their products and the processes. If there’s anytime there’s a problem, I just give them a call or walk in to talk to them. I always do my research before as to not annoy them with a million questions so I suggest you do the same!

Nice to have a place here in Riverside. New to the brew business. Shop appeared well stocked with gadgets everywhere. Was in the shop for 35 minutes looking lost and wasn’t sure what to get. A few employees walked by me without offering assistance. A little disappointed at this but I finally checked out with a few items and that’s when the guy at the counter was very receptive and helpful to my relief. Hope next time I go in they would be able to be a little more welcoming. I will shop there again soon.

I’m new to the whole home brewing experience but the employees here were very informative and helpful. Not once did they make me feel like an idiot because I didn’t know the difference between all grain and extract brewing. They carry a variety of supplies for the newbie, like myself, or the more advanced home brew aficionados. I will definitely be returning.

Great place to get supplies and information. Customer service is great, but there is usually not enough staff to help everyone. Waiting around is not the worst as there is a lot if items to look through. Brew demo days are busy, but there’s a schedule on the web page so you know what days to avoid.

I love this place. I love the demos and the free sampling of homebrew. I don’t love the location however since it’sa pain to get there basically haha. They’re always helpful in helping me put together recipes and this is my go-​to homebrew shop when making a brew. I got all my homebrew gear from them. I just wish they would upgrade their shop since it’s so small and cramped in there. The prices are fair and they’ve hooked me up with discounts a few times, so I keep coming back!

I stop in to More Beer whenever I run out of simple home brewing supplies and can’t wait for them to ship (or don’t want to pay for shipping). The crew is very helpful here. Many times, I can call an order in during the a.m. and pick up my order on my lunch hour, still leaving me plenty of time to grab lunch after.
The shop isn’t huge, so don’t expect EVERYTHING they offer online to be in store. Definitely call ahead to check stock and avoid an unnecessary trip (although, to me, I don’t mind because I’ll just browse and take home some stuff I’ve been wanting).
The prices here are very competitive with Northern Brewer and Midwest Supplies (where I purchase a lot of supplies from regularly). Again, More Beer is the place I go when I don’t want to pay shipping and just need a few things. If they keep up the good customer service, I may ditch NB and MS to come here.

Just left. needed help with our supplies for our kegerator and found it here. GREAT PLACE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE would recommend it to anyone that needs help with ant kind of kegerator supplies or Is a home brewer.

This store is the tits. I just called to ask the hours and the owner (or a very nice employee who answered my call) he offered to stay open a little bit later so my BF could purchase some kits for our brew fest this Thanksgiving. He was very kind and HELPFUL! A nice breath of fresh air to know there are awesome people still in the world. Anyway! Can’t wait to enjoy our home brew on Christmas! This place gets 5 stars from me because their customer service is outstanding. Whenever I have had an issue ordering from their website or had an issue with a product purchased here they have been more than willing to help me resolve the problem. Like others have said it can sometimes be hard to find someone at the store to help you out, although lately it looks like they have hired extra help to fix this. But once you get someone they do everything they can to make sure you’re satisfied with your purchase. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable.
As far as the store itself goes this is an amazing place for home brew equipment and supplies. They have everything you could need. I get all of my home brew supplies from here and have been very successful with my brews so far. They do occasionally run out of stock on stuff that is commonly needed but if you call ahead you can make sure they will have everything you need.
Bottom line is this is a fantastic resource for home brewers for supplies, ingredients, and even advice from the experienced and friendly staff

Good place to get supplies, prices are competitive on majority of the items. Smaller location however a lot of stuff crammed inside. Staff will answer questions, when you can get them out of the back office. Counter staff can be dry, not personable, and answers questions as if its a burden. Rob has been great, proactive with customers. If only everyone followed his role. I know what to expect so Im okay with it, just wish it was a better environment like other establishments. Dont let my review of the customer service scare you away, they have what you need usually.

Excellent service with friendly and knowledgable staff. Best place around for all if you Homebrew supply needs. Much friendlier than an online store, and you questions are answered on the spot.

I want so badly for this place to deserve 4 stars! So imagine this as 3.5.
They have a better selection of beer/​wine/​cider making supplies than any place in the area. They are within half an hour drive of me, so it’s very convenient. The employees are nice and you can call ahead to have them pack an order for you. This is very convenient. They also sell kits here.
The reason I can’t add another star is that a few people on the very small staff are virtually useless. I have seen some slacking and laziness as well as a bit of disorganized. A couple have no idea what aisle things might be on… and there are about 5 aisles.
This store is often out of inventory, so call ahead to check if this is a drive for you. I also purchased a few preassembled parts here (clamped hoses/​tubing etc) and every.single.one. leaked… so I ended up having to re-​cut hose, buy new clamps and do it myself. Don’t buy these.
They sell small CO2 tanks here, but do not refill them… so you’ll have to find another place. If you have a large order or something special I think it is best to order it from their website and have it shipped, either to yourself or to their store for pick up.
They offer a small AHA (5%) discount and another discount if you can prove you are part of a local homebrew club.
Two people I highly recommend working with here are Dan S and Rob. They know their stuff and if you can corner them for a moment they will answer anything you have to ask about beer and set ups. They seem to be the ones doing most of the work here, have been there a while and truly like their job (good senses of humor help too).
Generally a friendly shop, a great place to just wander for ideas with a good selection of grain, hops and common supplies (carboys, tubing, bottles, kegs) considering the tiny size of the shop. If you are even thinking of homebrewing this is the place to explore. Prices are standard.

Great shop. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Outstanding selection of items for homebrewing. They often have free classes and events too! I just wish they would carry the 1 gallon kits as the Northern Brewer does. But overall it’s a very very good shop for all your beer and wine making needs.

MoreBeer used to be the closest to Redlands. I’ve seen Green Valley Home Brew supplies off the 10 freeway. Regardless, most of the time I order online for most of my things from
. Occasionally I still visit this oddly placed brick and mortar location. Despite that, I come expecting them to have everything that I need to brew.
That being said the last visit was a bit of a disappointment. I was so excited to try the Russian River Pliny the Elder clone. Unfortunately that did not materialize at all. Instead the helpful staff helped me settle on the alternative of the Blind Pig IPA also from Russian River. Come to find out, there seems to be a slight employee issue at that store that is causing a slight understocking of inventory. As a matter of fact they had to substitue 2 of the hop pellets in the recipe so what I have brewed is probably that much less like the original.
As far as customer service, it seems to be better than most. Although there is room for improvement. I was helped with the decision on which kit then promissed that the kit including the grain would be put together even though I said I wouldn’t mind milling the grain myself. Ends up that I milled it myself because it was taking too long.
On the possitive is the free metal work I got on my heavy duty boil pot cover. I bought a immersion chiller that day and needed the cover to be notched. Well that was done for free and done well. yay!

Okay, so this store was quite a bit smaller than I had pictured, and was somewhat difficult to find… at least for my car’s navigation system. Other than that, I really liked this place. They have a great selection, and I was able to find everything I needed. Also, the employee was very friendly and able to suggest a great place to eat locally.

Just started to brew some beer, and it has been a great store! The staff is very helpful, and always lend a hand. They have tons of kits to get going. The location was a bit confusing to get to, but that’s not necessarily their fault.
I come back nearly every other week to pick up a kit or two to brew. I love the hobby, and this is a great store to get all a brewmaster needs!

On two previous trips to B3, I found the staff (usually one guy behind the counter) to be amazingly ambivalent, and perhaps even a little perturbed by my being there. On my most recent visit, I wasn’t able to purchase any supplies because they were having a «brew day» (where they demonstrate how to brew beer), so the place was absolutely PACKED, and I had no desire to wait an hour to purchase supplies. I really don’t understand why they wouldn’t set up at least one other register on brew days.
Unfortunately, they are the closest homebrew supply shop to the Coachella Valley, so they have very little motivation to offer better customer service — at least until somebody opens a shop in the Inland Empire.
They get two stars instead of one because they do usually have what I need.
