I wrote Mike for a quote about my sputtering lawn mower. He voluntarily suggested that I call him so that he could talk me through how to repair it myself. He spent 20 minutes on the phone with me. I have since fixed the mower myself using Mikes instructions. I am truly grateful for Mikes generous and professional guidance. Corporate America could use some advice from this guy. I will not go anywhere else for small motor service. Thanks Mike!

If you want an honest opinion, someone who doesn’t give you the feeling that your being ripped off, then you need to call MJ. I called him because of the good reviews even though he didn’t quite operate in my area. I told him what the issue was, he gave me a quote for him to drive to my location and one to bring my mower to him. What I didn’t expect was for him to offer to walk me through the problem over the phone. I wanted to attempt one last option to figure it out on my own, which I did. But now there was a new problem, the engine started smoking. I called MJ back and even still he was ready to help me out. He gave me detailed instructions on what to do next and told me to call him back as soon as I was done to make sure everything worked. My mower is running like a champ!!! And he didn’t charge me a dime! I was just some random customer calling and he treated me like family. If I ever have an issue that I can’t fix myself I will gladly drive the 35 miles and pay him before I go anywhere else… Thanks MJ! We need more buisness owner’s like you.

Last week I thought it would be a good idea to mow the lawn on my day off… Forget that. My mower wouldn’t start for anything. I called MJ up and asked if he would be able to work on my mower. After asking a few questions he was pretty sure what the problem was and thought there wouldn’t be a problem fixing it.
I dropped it off on Saturday morning, MJ did a few tests to make sure that it can be repaired, after this came back ok he sent me on my way and let me know he would keep me updated. Throughout the next two days he kept me updated on the progress and when it was done he worked with me for a pick-​up time that fit my schedule.
Not only did the mower work just as well as before it stopped working, but he sharpened the blade and power washed it and wasn’t going to charge me extra!
By far he is the best when it comes to mower repair. There is no question that he is the one to call if you need work done. I’ll definitely be working with him again and sending anyone else there.

Worth every penny to come and service our lawnmower. He even took pictures and provided the old parts so that we could see the before and after. Would use again. Thank you

All the reviews were spot on! Took our mower to him… he could have «played» the mower and us… but told us the truth. «Don’t waste your money, could make it run, but not last!» We took his advice and now have another mower!

MJ is awesome! I emailed him about an issue I was having starting my Craftsman Kohler engine lawn mower and he was very responsive. I talked to him a couple times on the phone and well as email trying to resolve the issue but I could not figure it out. Made and appointment to take it to him to repair and he had the lawn mower going in 10 minutes. I will definately recommend MJ and I plan to use him in the future. Thanks again MJ!

I contacted MJ and he explained what my weed eater needed to work. He recommended that I replace it and not repair it. It was simply not worth it. I appreciate his honesty and expertise. Thanks MJ!

After talking with MJ, I have been very impressed with his knowledge of lawnmowers. He asked me to send a photo of my lawnmower, but advised me not to repair it due to it’s age, rust, and cost of replacing the carburetor. This advice has saved me money, and I really appreciate his honesty. I would recommend giving him a call.

I took my Lawnmower to MJ because I couldn’t fix or figure out what was wrong with it. Well let me tell you MJ is the man. If you need your lawnmower serviced he’s the guy to take it to. I’d definitely get my lawnmower serviced by him. Thanks again MJ

MJ was so helpful and was able to help me over phone and my problem was fixed. He is much less expensive than a regular shop and I will definitely call him and refer him to everyone I know.

I called MJ telling him the problem with my lawn mower, he told me what was wrong and how I could fix it myself, but since I did not have the correct tools, I brought my lawn mower to MJ and he fixed it within an hour! MJ is very knowledgeable about what he was doing. There was something wrong with my carburetor, so I took my lawn mower to him. He repaired the carburetor and supplied my lawn mower with a new filter and spark plug for a very low low price. His service fee was very fair and he is a great guy! It was very entertaining and educational watching him fix the lawn mower because he explains what each part does and how it works. I will most definitely give him a call again if something else ever happens! He does great at his job!

He helped me over the phone — and told me how I could find out what was wrong with my lawn mower over the phone. — His directions and instructions were perfect, but I am a girl, with no mechanical skills !! So I told him I had no problem to pay him to look at my mower. I brought it to his house. He told me it wasn’t too bad, and that he could fix it for cheaper then it would be to buy another one. He said it would take an hour — so I asked if there was any places around I could get my oil changed in my car, he gave me a couple of places close by AND also gave me coupons for both.
I came back, he had my lawn mower fixed. He also changed my oil, and gave me an new air filter. He is absolutely wonderful !!!

MJ is the man. I called him on Saturday late afternoon when almost ever other shop is closed. MJ answered and then at no cost walked me through, over phone, on how to repair my lawn mower and get it running. He also helped me diagnose my weed eater and found the best way to do repairs myself. This guy is honorable, genuine, and more than fair. I felt guilty because he didn’t even charge me for the time he took to help me. I’m going to be sure to have MJ do my engine maintenance from now on and I suggest you do too.
